Never say never. He is young, he has problems with his team mates and there is not even telling who is gonna be real's next coach. Might be Mourinho - and he is a man of his own will you know...
And even selling him for 20-25 mln. euros is possible. Shit, we bought Buffon for no less and he is no forward as well. We've been spending big before for weak positions why not again?

Yeah, all about him is free, except his beard and his attitude. Seems to me he is a prisoner of his wife, just like Sheva. If he was really big time he would have stayed with us and accepted salary reduction. He had the money - it was just a matter of manhood from him. But I guess shiny life might not miss him, but missed her and she wants him back in the big stage. He was better in Italy, so let it be Italy. I used to like this guy, but now I would even send him as a present to Moratti.
No Zambro, he will just take the space for a younger defender and his salary. Much better to spend money on sb now...
Yeah but Buffon is really special he is considered one of the best GK of all time by many!!!
I personally think he is the best the world have ever seen and might be the best the world would ever see!

buying Buffon for 50M$ was a steal even tough it was 50M$ which is a lot of cash!

About Zambrotta I would gladly welcome him back as he was awesome with us and will be again once he is back!
I don`t see Zambrotta as a traitor therefore I hope he signs with us

Do you think Sergio Ramos would be less special as a defender? He has almost everything, but the right mentality and team to be the next Maldini. You can't forget that as well.
And he would be less than 50M$, especially considering inflation in transfer prices and so on...
Buffon was a great deal, why would Sergio Ramos not be one?

Ramos could be as good as Maldini but Buffon is a lot more valuable
I consider Maldini to be a great LB and in his prime he surely was a legend
But you cant compare his contribution to Buffon`s

It`s like you say you would prefer Maldini in his prime than Buffon right now

PSG have real chance to fall out from Ligue1, and i believe, that in this case their best players will be for sale, including Rothen, Landreau, Pauleta :D, and Armand, who was mentioned before. If we have no need for GK or paying guest, we should try to make our left side stronger.
Landreau is a horrible keeper, he isnt even one of the best keepers in the Ligue. Why Domenech calls him up, is frankly beyond me, he really is a horrible keeper.

doesn't work hard enough,at times loses the ball too easily and never sticks his foot in for a tackle...going forward he is looks good but never works hard enough for the team

no probably by fucking ure retarded ass
:rofl2:

that actually shows that you havent watched Rothen enough, his most important characteristic is that he works as hard as a horse, how could you even say that??!

Tune in for the next PSG game, and watch how wrong you are.

Fred, I don't feel like viewing the table, examining the fixtures, etc.. So in a nutshell, what are PSG's chances of going down this year?

No my friend I would not prefer Maldini over Buffon as such players cannot be prefered - you either got it or you don't. What I am saying is that when you have one of those special players, price should not be an issue within a certain range.
Sergio Ramos IMO, and as it seems yours as well, could be the next Maldini. He goes into some trouble with his team mates, his club president and sporting director are the worst ever to work in Real/Soccer society, his coach is not sure even where the sun will raise from after the end of the season... it is pretty much the best time to try and land him.
And also, Gigi many times this year was furious about errors in the defence. There were probably 15 goals this season that he could do nothing about, just because of error of the defenders. Especially from the wings. Therefore a great keeper+average defense = average performance.
Keeper is half the team but when he has to do with expected situations. When you try to play him as both defender and a keeper - this stuff just doesn't work. In short: Gigi needs Ramos as much as Ramos needs Gigi. We need stable defence and old Gigi if we want to conquer the world these years.

I don't know what kind of defender we need, but next year every major team in Seria A is preparing for new forwards, Adriano is coming back(and might be actually in form)... so defending would be hard next year, especially if we want to attack the title.
In that sense, I would prefer one world class defender to arrive instead of a few lesser ones. We need a really strong defense for the next season's seria A big games.
What would you call it if we snap the 'next Maldini'? I mean I know they are Real M and have a lot of money, but this guy really seem to have problems with his team-mates. And besides Zambrotta is an element I would rather enjoy being transfered to Milan than back to us. He was good, he was great...but It was before... He is not a legend of Juventus and I would not want him back now.
I was wondering what the concensus among Juve fans would be about this guy returning.

Is it fair to say its about 60 - 40 in favour of taking him back?

I agree with you comment that he was great. I've seen him get turned around pretty badly recently trying to defend for Barca. One of the worst has to be the way R.Sobis turned him around like a top and then inside out.

He's not the player he used to be and I hope Milan doesn't land him. We're already old & Zambrotta's on the wrong side of 30 IMO.

Most of you who thinks Zambro is a traitor is just naive. In order for someone of Zambro's class who just won the WC and to stay with Juve and get relegated in Serie B is more than an easy naive sacrifice than you thought. Buffon is a different case. I believe Zambrotta as a hero for us. He might not be a legend but somehow perhaps 20 years from now we will look back and see what Zambrotta has contributed for us during his days. I for one never really blamed anyone who left during our relegation. After all the impact was huge. Getting relegated to Serie B is not like dropping an ice cream and choosing whether to pick it up to eat again or just leave it there. Its alot more than that. You think of how the world of professional football looks at you. And I believe Zambrotta is one of the world's best leftbacks and super versatile. And he definitely deserve a choice. At those times, I wouldn't blame anyone to leave. Even if Buffon chose to leave it's okay. Or DP or Nedved whatever. To them who has dedicated their lives in football your aim in life is to play at the highest level. And playing in the 2nd division is clearly a disaster for someone of Zambro's reputation. Plus if you say he was leaving because of the money. I don't recall Zambrotta earning alot in Juve. He was one of those humble earners despite him playing an important role for us. I respect him, and I still do. And if he wants to come back to Juve, I would love to see him end his career here even if he couldn't play as well such as in the past. The fact that there was rumours stating that he wants to return is cool. At least he hasn't forget about his roots.

Dont look at Zambro as the things we have done for him and forget what he has done for us. Zambrotta made one of the biggest impacts during his playing days for us and I'll always remember his contribution. To me personally, he was always part of Juventus and perhaps will always be.

taking Zambro back, would not look good, to our champions (Nedved, Gigi, Treze, Camo and DP), so my answer is THX, but no Thx...Get Grosso for 5m€, he would wont to make a mark in Juve shirt, like of Zambro who spend 7 years with us...So buy Grosso for LB and bring De Ceglie back (sell MoliBLAH)...
For the center of the defence buy Zapata (more expirianced then Ramos in serie A and more chip), that should cover the CD positions (Zapata - Chiellini)...Sell Andrade

For the RB buy De Silvestri from Lazio, the guy is much promising and Azzuro to come (for many years), sell Grygera...

When we draw the line under it, we would get:

De Silvestri - Zapata - Chiellni - Grosso

Back up or rotation

Zebina - Melberg - Legro - De Ceglie

Daddi

Cuadrado is juan hell of a derby king!

That would rock! Miguel or de Silvestri for RB.

What are the chances of us getting Lahm? I heard he wants to leave Germany, maybe as soon as this summer.
i think he would be a nice purchase even if i don't like him, because he has glass bones ... once in the german league he fell on his arm (all by hisself) and got a broken arm ... lol ... pinocchio !

the comments he made would hint at a spell with big spending clubs like barca, real or chelsea ...

Pretty high i've got to say, things are a mess in PSG, they just sacked their president Alain Cayzac, Le Guen looks like he's going to be given the boot soon, they're three points away from safety but they cant seem to get a win from anywhere at the moment. They have a game away to Toulouse in 2 weeks time(Toulouse are ahead with 3 points) for me that is the deciding match of the season for PSG, they're going to need Luyindula, Diane, Rothen, Armand and N'Gog all to be at their best in the next 4 matches.
