im sorry i hardly ever watch real and when i do i havent really seen him play. whats he like right now is he performing?
Meh...I don`t watch Real much nowadays.

He`s good destroyer and he has great shoot. He played much better in Sevilla IMO.

I`d still prefer someone like Diego or van der Vaart.

But I would also prefer Baptista over Diarra or Gilberto Silva.

He's no destroyer though, he's an attack minded central midfielder, i dont know, the way i see it he isnt cut out to play for a big team, he was downright terrible with us, and he's nothing more than average for Real (other then the period of december january) imo he's too lethargic and takes too much time on the ball, dont see why juventus would be interested

something stinks somewhere. As Ranieri said manny times that Juve is "winning project" and that he has been promised to get at least 1 world class player. So I do expect someone big to come...very big...

It looks like arsenal is on downhill, and they might lose few good man at the end of season..and I would welcome Hleb or Flamini but no to Gilberto.. Saw him recently and def. no

Guys the last game Palladino and Tiago did not celebrated at all after their goals (although Tiago's one was an own goal). That makes me think that they are both leaving, which combined with the statute of Nocerino as a gonner, Almiron and etc. makes me believe we are getting two midfielders at least for the next season. We needed a bigger squad and it looks like a lot of guys are actually leaving now...
But hey, Tiago is almost sure for Atletico M, so do you think we are getting Maxi from there...or maybe sb esle!!! ???

Maxi just stated that his desire is to play at Atletico for life.

I know it is all rumors guys, but they say that every rumour has a little bit of truth inside...
According to www.goal.com, Arsenal are ready to hijack our Amauri deal which does not surprise me as they are looking for experienced striker and might be kind of warning on Flamini...
But then again something had happened:
"Berbatov To Quit Spurs As Contract Talks Fail?"
If Berbatov is out of Spurs we were one of the interesting teams. Now they are stating the it needs to be a CL team and also that it is one of the big 8 teams that we all know. Two in Spain, Four in England... so there are two in Italy left - Juve and Milan I think. And the last one ain't CL qualified, yet. Besides we were linked with Berbatov on several occasions and there were Juve scouts on his games. (before they decided to put him a 30/40 Mln. Pounds tag).
Amauri and Berbatov are alike, but I think that the Bulgarian has more intelligence and experience. That would make him a very good addition to our squad and style. He can play for both Del Piero and Trezeguet positions - he can create as well as score.
Now I know a lot of you would say: "blah-blah... he would go somewhere else"
But in reality he can go either here or in Manchester United. why?
He is a player with loyalty and character - he could not switch from one side of London to the other. So Chelsea, Arsenal are out. Liverpool is not looking for a striker as well. So there are Manchester United (and he was linked couple of times with them as well, but I think since Ronaldo stays and they have a great team already he would be more like a sub - he would not enjoy it very much)
Spain is out - he said that he likes Italy and England (he already played in Germany). Nonetheless Real Madrid are always an option... unrealistic IMO for now.
So Italy - we were linked , Milan as well. We are selling Palla and probably not getting Amauri - we are in 100%. Milan if they get Ronaldinho and Sheva - I am not so confident about...
So I personally hope that he arrives, but in a 'normal' transfer price of ~20Mln. Euros. Besides he has only 2 years left of his contract and his salary is less than 40 000 GBP per week. ~ <2.5 Mln. Euros.
