Sorrentino has been performing reasonably well in the La Liga but it'd be another stupid wasteful transfer when we own 3 goalies who can back up Buffon.. There's no point spending money on the backup goalie it'd be a total misuse of vital funds
I would try to convince Manninger(free) to join us. He'll play the Coppa Italia and some Serie A games when Gigi needs a break. I listened to Cobolli's interview and I'm sure we'll get a solid backup keeper.
I'd prefer an older, more experienced goalkeeper as a back-up since he wouldn't get much playing time. Mirante should play more often, because it's wasted talent being a back-up all the time.
