Why because I think he is the best current Coach and they way he brought soccer to Arsenal making arsenal the best club to play football..I love they way they play..And i do adore their youth players every year they come up with fantastic players like ex. Nicklas Bendtner..

I said this before..He stated one day that he would like to coach for JUVE one day in serie A..And if he would come to Juve..He would do great with the club he would have a great partnership with Trez and hopefully bring MR.VP

Van Persie has probaly the best strike from his left foot other then Riise...VP has great ball control..His free kicks hit top net every time and they are bullets...HE would be a great replacement for DP..
wow, thats good to hear from a non Arsenal fan, Wenger and Juve would be interesting too. Not that i'd want it to happen.

You see Salman, this is why i dont think RVP is underrated, if anything, i believe Arsenal fans and some of his dutch fans overrate him..its over the top to call him the best in his generation, he might be one of the most talented, but imo he hasnt proven himself more than Robben, Van Nistelrooy or Seedorf.
I think Dutch people and Arsenal fans would overrate him.Kind of like the way in which Balzaretti was overrated on these forums.Van Perise isnt as good as Dutch and Arsenal fans might have you believe, but i was talking about the general impression non-Arsenal and Dutch fans have of him.Personally,i think he's one of the best forwards in the EPL,and he has the potential to become one of the best in europe as far as the future is concerned, but ive hardly seen someone who's not an Arsenal or Holland fan say something along these lines.

I think when it comes to the generation thing, people probably compare him to the likes of Robben,Van Der Vaart,De Jong,Sneijder,Huntelaar etc..because these players belong to the same age group.RVN and Seedorf probably belong the previous generation of Dutch players, which includes Van Der Saar,RVN,Makaay etc.

As far as comparing him the players i mentioned is concerned,i think he's second only to Robben.Robben hasnt won a lot right now too,but there was a time when he was THE one sailing Chelsea's boat.Van Persie hasnt had the same effect at Arsenal as yet, which could be down to the fact that Arsenal has a lot of exciting and young players at their disposal, which means that Van Persie would have to share the glory with players like Hleb,Fabregas etc, whereas getting noticed at Chelsea was comparitivley easier for Robben because in terms of pure talent he was by far,the most exciting player in their squad.

I still think that a few years down the road,Van Persie could very well develop into one of the best forwards in Europe. He certainly has the talent, wether he uses it is another issue.

Good Post, i agree with every point..i too think he is only second to Robben in his generation..mostly because Robben has proved himself more, but talent wise they are probably the same..RVP hasnt peaked yet, infact imo he hasnt even come close, but when he or if he does reach his peak, i agree with you that he will be one of the best forwards in Europe.

Italian Clubs Tracking Maniche

With Atletico Madrid allegedly keen to offload Portuguese midfielder Maniche, a move to Italy may beckon already in January.

Atletico Madrid midfielder and Portuguese international Maniche is allegedly being tracked by a number of major clubs, among them a few Italian teams as well.

The player's adventure with Atletico Madrid seems to be practically over, and the 30-year-old former Porto player might be leaving the Spanish capital already in January.

"If an interesting proposal comes in, for the club and the player, we will take it into consideration," Atletico manager Migel Angel Marin said, "otherwise the player will stay with us until the end of the season."

Inter, Juventus, Fiorentina, and Milan, all teams who are said to be interested in the player, will therefore want to make a move next month already to take advantage of this situation.

The skillful central midfielder won every club trophy on offer during his time under Jose Mourinho at Porto, before making an ill-fated move to Dynamo Moscow.

He was then loaned out to Chelsea, where he reunited with Mourinho, but could not earn a starting place with the Blues. Since the summer of 2006 he has been with Atletico Madrid, making only 24 appearences.

I wouldnt say he's finished but i think a UEFA cup kinda team would suit him best.. On the subject of this thread, i want a young relatively unknown italian RB, its one position where i can't see any real alternatives or real standouts that are getable so it might be best to just try to create one.. i've always liked the notion of us turning young italians into champions. All this said, it's just dreaming
