I heard good things about him. Would he be an upgrade over Nocerino and Marchisio?
I must admit I've just seen his games at the U21 EC and I was impressed,he played as an DM and scored twice.I don't think he is compareable with Marchisio,Veloso is a DM/CB/LB and Marchisio is more of a CM. In comparison to Nocerino he is an upgrade IMO,because he can play as a LB and CB too.I don't know how good he is at CB,he is quite small for an CB(1.80).But actually that shouldn't be a problem---> Cannavaro;).Maybe somebody can say more about his CB-qualities.

According to this site we keep an eye on Aguero and already have got in contact with the board of Atletico. The buy out clause in his contract comports 90 m €,we could be ready to spend big next summer if we reach the CL and we could offer them over 30 m € for Aguero(contract till 2012).He's said to be a Juve-sympathizer since his childhood.

Edit: I didn't want to open a new thread because the source is the only which links him with us,if it's worth a seperate thread, tell me.

B. Ivanovic
R. Carvalho
Lucho
Amauri
Except for Lucho, those are some good choices for next season. It could amount to something like this;

Buffon
Grygera Carvalho Criscito(Andrade?) Chiellini
Camoranesi Zanetti Nocerino(Tiago/Almiron?)
Giovinco
Trezeguet Amauri

Not bad at all.

do we need amauri? another old (Not-young) forward, and specially after we signed Iaquinta and kept Trezeguet
Well.. 'need' is a big word, but i'd certainly say he'd improve our attack a lot. The guy is the technical version of Drogba. Amauri is great, hadn't he been injured the last 6 months of the previous season, i'm sure he'd be at one of europe's topsides already.

Amauri is great I don't disagree with you there, but having these players all in one squad might create problems for those who will stay at the bench, not to forget we have Giovinco coming back next season too (will he?).. But if can play at Nedved's position, that would be a good add.
