I agree with Ahmed this time around. VDV is too hard to lure onto your team in pro evo, quaresma is too slow, and G Silva always shoots high and wide and gets redcarded nearly every game. I say no to all 3.
Allright, now you are just pessimistic to anoye me. But it's that looking at my formation it's way too opurnistic and not gonna happen. I still feel though that all these players can mean something to juve

I know it was Diego rather than Gabby but I thought I'd put the question anyway. We need more than one new CB so do you have someone else you prefer to Barzagli?
You asked me the question which I tried to escape lots of times after Fiorentina extended Dainelli's contract, but it seems that there is no way.

First of all, let's suppose that Gabriel Milito will be our regular left centre back for the next season, thus we have to think of the best available defender to partner him. At first, I thought about a rotation system among Grygera, Criscito, Zebina and Boumsong for the right centre back position, in this case the right back position will be affected too, a thing which will add more instability to the defence line. Of course, Chiellini can't partner Milito, as both of them are left-footed. Hence, signing another good centre back will be essential.

The centre backs whom we're strongly linked to now are Barzagli, Heinze, Cris, Cannavaro, etc..(I don't remember more defenders right now). Cannavaro has said that he wants to win the Champions League, hence I don't think he'll leave Real Madrid. With the presence of Chiellini and Milito, I think we're in no need of Heinze as a left centre back and he doesn't normally play as a right centre defender, besides I read that Real Madrid are in pole position to sign him. Therefore, I see that the only realistic targets now are Barzagli and Cris. The latter is solid experienced defender who won't cost us more than £8m, still he is a bit old and he hasn't played in Italy before. Whereas the former is younger and has a good experience in Italy, yet I do think that he isn't that tough and a bit inconsistent, also his performance hasn't convinced me after the World Cup whatsoever.

To sum it up, I'm between Barzagli and Cris, but if they're the only options in hands, I may go for Barzagli.

Juventus (4-2-3-1. Buffon; GRYGERA, MILITO, BARZAGLI, MOLINARO; TIAGO, ALMIRON; IAQUINTA, Del Piero, Nedved; HUNTELAAR. All. : RANIERI (Mail of the Sport)

why molinaro and not chiellini?

Because Corriere dello sport didn't know how to fill the Cover for today's Newspaper. What they're telling is just invented Media BS imo. Chiellini would start ahead of Molinaro any day of the week, and we won't play with 3 strikers I'm sure. There are rumours Ranieri could play with 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. We would fail against stronger teams I guess. Espacially because we haven't even any real DMwith that formation.

:faq2: Corriere dello Sport!

his a destroyer in the midfield and if i was coach he is good enough at Serie A level to b a starter!
:agree:

Trezeguet for Gilberto, Camoranesi for Tiago (Lyon used to be interested), ½ Paro, ½ Volpato + loan of Giovinco for Almirón. Money for Milito.

Buffon
Grygera Criscito Milito Chiellini
Tiago Almirón Gilberto Nedved
Iaquinta Del Piero

Then mebbsie splash some on Huntelaar/Bianchi/Quagliarella since I don't think Iaquinta should be good enough for starting. And another CB so we can let Criscito bloom without pressure, Barzagli maybe, or we can just use one of the mediocre ones we have.

Hmz mebbsie lacks some pace in that formation, but just a preliminary line up and there are some fast guys on the bench.
Can Tiago play on the right?
Well, I think so. He is used on the right in a 4-3-3 midfield at Lyon. Though he wouldn't be a tradition winger, but I don't think Camo is one either so.. :)

I would love to see Juve play 4-3-3
we really have to do some imagebuilding after the scandal and the negative tactics of Crapello
Lets play some exciting piece of football

4-3-3 is not a formation that is a bases for success its a base for mixed results! its not about exciting football its about winning in this game. When you go on the field u dont grit ur teeth and say play exciting u grit ur teeth and say win, win at all costs!
