If he is the link between the three lines, this means that he's got the minimum skills which all the three lines have. I can see that he is a ball distributor, but not up to Juve's level, maybe due to the lack of the squad of another centre midfielder whom we can base our judgment of Paro on. But the thing that I can't comprehend is him taking a more defending role or a more attacking one. Defending in midfield requires a solid quick midfielder. On the other hand, attacking or making the play in midfield requires a more creative midfielder. In my opinion, Paro hasn't got the abilities to perform both roles.

I expressed my opinion about his passing before, but when it comes to his shots, I think the guy is far away from generating a decent shot either a strong shot or a well placed one. During the entire current season, I don't remember a single decent shot to him actually.
I didn't say he is up to Serie A Level but i just said he isn't as bad as ur classifying him.

It will be an interesting situation with him,Marchisio,Venitucci and even Nocerino.Whos gonna leave or stay.

I envisage that Nocerino would be Italy's future defensive midfielder, and Marchisio still has a lot to offer. But we're looking forward to following Venitucci more, thus, we can have a complete idea about him.

Juventus to raise funds with player sale
tribalfooball.com - May 02, 2007

Juventus are planning to boost their summer transfer kitty by the sale and co-ownership of their fringe players.

Youngsters Paolo De Ceglie, Matteo Paro, Claudio Marchisio and Rej Volpato will all be made available in co-ownership at the end of this season. And offers will be invited for Marcelo Zalayeta, Nicola Legrottaglie and Giuliano Giannichedda.

Also being put up for sale will be Fabrizio Miccoli and Alessio Tacchinardi, who are away on-loan this season at Benfica and Villarreal respectively.

I don't believe anything from tribalfootball. Selling Paro, Marchisio, Giannichedda and Tacchinardi would leave us with one centre mid; Zanetti. Legro is finally starting to play well so we're gonna get rid of him now? He'll stay for cover.

Zanetti is the best defensive midfielder we have, Marchisio is improving day after day besides being young, Nocerino is one of the best in his generation and Tacchinardi maybe used as a backup for a regular defensive midfieder, bearing in mind the fact that the latter is well experienced in the Calcio.

I would like to see tottenham's Berbatof signing for Juve !
I couldn't think of one special player that I truly admire and wasn't mentioned in the treads as a wish. Now I figured, it was Berbatov superb choice.
But all the EPL clubs are rich and I doubt they will ofload him.
Not for a huge sum after a season like this, I mean look at how high sums they are paying for subs? Tot'nem especialy...

Berbatov is awesome but we can't get him. He settled superbly at Tottenham this season and won't want to leave.

I want Nesta, Gattuso, Pirlo and Kaka. Oddo, Ambrosini and Seedorf would be nice too.
