it would be awesome to keep trezi in juventus. should we be proomted then we can offer him a better contract and i'm sure he'll stay. he has the opportunity to become a juventus legend. :toast:
Unfortunately, I think Trezi will leave next summer.

He isnt pleased with fact that Juventus needs 5 years to recover from Calciopoli
and he wants to win the Champions League.

But he will stay in my heart 4ever!

One of the best persons and strikers in the last decade.

One of three French Juve legends: Zidane - Platini - Trezeguet.

His goals will bring us back in Serie A!:agree:

Thank you Trez for everything!

I'd like to keep Trez as well. My thoughts though about our players that are getting old when they decide to retire are: I would like to see Robinho to replace Nedved, Torres to replace DP, Frings to replace Gianni, as a RB if Zebina leaves i would like Grygera and as an extra CB i would like to see Kompany in black and white. My choises where made acording to the time that these players are with their team. The longer the player with a team, the easiest he will go away to face new challenges.

how about this 1 ? :)

Gk : Buffon , Mirante , Scarzanella

Df : Balzaretti , Barzagli , Kovac , Chiellini , Zebina , Boumsong , Tudor , Daniel Alves

Mf : Camoranesi , zanetti , mascherano , Diego , Marchionni , Paro , Marchisio , Kapo , Giannicheda , Maresca ,

Not the best you can do.

2 more full-backs and one central defender less.

2 more wingers and one or two DMs less. Maresca?:disagree:

Attack looks poor.:agree:

I don't understand why some people are uspet at having French players in the team.
I don't understand that either. We have a good history with French players (Platini, Trez, Deschamps, Zidane). As long as we still have an italian core I don't see a problem with French players. I prefer them to many others, especially to players from other continents since French players shouldn't have much problems to adapt to italian life. And since we have a french coach who played in Italy himself and since we have a French player in Trezeguet who has been part of Juventus for many years new French players have contact persons to help them. On the other hand imagine a brazilian talent who finds nobody with the same lingual and cultural background and is in a foreign country for the first time. It's natural that he will have problems to adapt and to bring his best form.

Deschamps won the world cup 8 years ago. Young french talents were boys at this time and were watching him win the cup in France. He is an idol for them. This, our history with french players, our amount of current french players and the fact that this is a rare situation were one of the biggest clubs in the world has to rely on young talents should help us very much to get some young french blood. Let's go for it.

I think there's a misconception that Juve has always been some relatively purebread Italian team, which it hasn't been. Just look at the starting squad last season: Thuram, Trez, Vieira, Zebina (France), Emerson (Brazil), Ibrahimovic (Sweden), Nedved (Czech).

The Italian argument just doesn't hold water. We're no more or less Italian than before.

matrix is still italian i guess. :pint:
but he skips most matches due to red cards. :D

Last season though, Inter played lots of matches with a completely non-Italian line-up.

Juve and Milan are more balanced in that aspect, you gotta have some players that love their team, and what it means for them. As much as Neddy may love Juve, it's not as much as Del Piero loves it, or as Gattuso loves Milan. But nobody loves Inter.

grosso toldo.....lol can't think of another one
A couple years ago Inter became the first team in Lega Calcio history to not have a single Italian on the pitch during a match.

But we're getting off topic... ;)
