I creamed myself after I read that Hamsik to Juve article on C4, I would sacrife Iaq for Hamsik, especially considering Trezeguet is really close to match fitness.
It was from Tuttosport originally.
But i do think that something's going on between Hamsik and Napoli and that a third side is attracting Hamsik away from Napoli.
He played awful on the last three matches. He doesn't try, doesn't run, makes unnecessary fouls, gets unnecessary yellow cards, took an awful penalty and missed it against Catania 10 days ago and got a stupid red card on Sunday which got him a 2 week suspension (Napoli play perhaps the two most important matches in the next 2 weeks, against Roma and Fiorentina. Direct clashes for the 4th spot).
Even De Laurentiis reacted and asked Hamsik to concentrate on football rather than a move away from Napoli.

I'm pretty sure some team bigger than Napoli wants him and made a tempting offer. But i'm not sure that we are that team.

Another "guru" came up with some clues for our next transfer targets:

- a young Right Back
- a winger that can play behind the strikers, between 23-29, plays in the EPL, not Italian
- a Center Back
- a champion or future champions for a great fee(25-35m €)
- Zuniga
- Kuyt
- Knezević (permanent deal)
- Jenas

After such a mercato we will still own Milan.

Oh. I didn't know the origin of this was Tuttosport, I mean Hamsik shines when he makes those extra runs, great balls, and technically good. But, he should be showing more Professionalism by giving 100% in every game.. I would glady have Hamsik as our 'big' signing for next season though.

if that was true (the reason behind hamsiks current displays) than i must really ask if you do want such a player with questionable character here in turin !

i wish we could get someone as nedveds successor who could actually cross with his left foot ... if we don't, we can totally forget that wing, because molinaros crosses are well known and de ceglie wont feature as left back very soon...

Hamsik SHOULD not be Nedved's replacement. The dude cant play LW, or that far up the field (seen him in a Qf game for Slovakia, played LW and AM, SUCKED). He is a box to box midfielder, A CM who makes smart runs and plays. Dont turn him into something he is not.

Nah, he actually played well as AM, and also scored a goal, but he has to be in the center. But he really sucks at LW.

I can definitely see Hamsik take Nedved's role on the left but with freedom to roam inwards. Nedved isn't a left winger either, but an attacking central one in essence.
I like Hamsik but not for the LW. If we do that we will lose our width and would have to rely on a good attacking LB (and we all know Molinaro doesn't fit the bill). Plus we would end up playing like Chelsea.
