I dissagree I think we will win the CL but not because we are that good but because of luck will be on our side!
We do need to be strengthen but 4 players to come mid season would be a bad idea as for one it will be a good idea but still need to make sure he could play in the CL as well

and when you consider most if not all the good players are at least uefa cup tied, we can only register 1 uefa cup tied player for the cl so 4 is unrealistic unless you are after mediocre players who are 'cack' and not even allowing them time to properly settle 4 is too extreme of a change at this time of the season, especially since everything is on track

That does'nt matter. The other players will help you in the league, and you could rest the other thats what milan did with ronaldo and won the CL that season. Anyways the players the club should sign 3 are not cup-tied i.e. Hamsik and Sliva are not cup tied, nor is Zapata only Rafinha is.

Napoli were eliminated in the first round from Benfica, alex. Hamsik did play in UEFA Cup (they made it there through Intertoto).
If Silva didn't play in UEFA for Valencia then you're right. Theoretically we can sign both of them and they will both be available for CL.
But even you should be aware that signing both of them in January is impossible. Minimum 50m eur will be needed and we almost certainly don't have so much money in our transfer budget.

especially since valencia still believe in the title so selling one of their best assets in january would either be cost inefficient for us, and/or title damaging for valencia, there for silva in january is impossible.

as for hamsik napoli too have important objectives and for them to sell hamsik now would be like us selling amauri and del piero to inter
