Juve to pounce for Pieters?
Thursday 2 October, 2008
Juventus scouts are watching Dutch defensive starlet Erik Pieters and a summer bid could be on the cards.

Over the last few weeks, Juve have been keeping an eye on the PSV ace and head scout Renzo Castagnini has flown to Holland to form his own opinion.

The 20-year-old can play either as a left-back or in the centre of defence and is a regular for Holland's Under-21 side.

According to Tuttosport, Juve are considering tabling a significant bid for Pieters, who only joined PSV from Utrecht last July for just over £2m.

The Dutch champions will be reluctant to part with a possible star of the future but a bid of over £5m could change their minds.

but you're the guy that kept underrating Sneijder, Robben, and Babel. I don't think we should take what you say about Dutch players seriously.
Hear hear! I agree, Lion.

Honestly Dom, you have been wrong about so many Dutch players in the past that you can't be taken seriously in my view. I don't know why, but that's just how it has played out. When it comes to Italian football you're good, but Dutch? Come on man.

As long as the season is off in my openion we need to give the youth some chance we got many talents i've seen them in many occasions we have .....
mauro esposito - a brilliant player could replace camo on thr rt flank
giovinco - i guess he is known enough to all
carlo vecchione - you can count on him in any place on the lt flank and i mean it he is so mature for somone in his age

giorgio merlano - the new buffon
iago falque - the new gem of barcelona as they used to say we got him and he need time on the pitch

if we have to buy a player from outside the country - coz all the recent foreign players are not on juve's name level - so we must go for helder barbosa he is the new left footed cristiano ronaldo a very good youngster you can watch him on youtube () or diego and he is known to every one i guess but he will cost us alot unlike barbosa

Gohi is a playmaker and a maestro while the other is hell of a forward player and a good dribler
