We'll said. I would personally like to see the club sign a top quality young midfielder like Moutinho or Hamsik. But If we got Corluka, Zapata & Lucho i would be more than satisfied, and we would geniunely challenge Inter for the scudetto.

Lucho - 10million euros + Tiago
Corluka 10million euros(buy-out clause)
Zapata - 20million euros, or we could sign someone like Santacroce for 15million euros.

There is something like a week before the market closes. So we have to bring in at least two quality players.
we have to but unfortunately it won`t happen

We will get 25million. So why don't the managment use to that to at least sign a quality centre back & a proper fullback or spend it all on a quality midfielder. At least do something with it. It's not as if our squad is filled with quality:( Even Tottenham (a non CL club) have made far better signings than us. Arshavin, Modric, Dos santos. And we sign trash like Knezevic. presist with dirt like Zebina, Molinaro, etc I blame Elkann, for not investing, The fucking cunt should sell up.

who do you think will pay our new stadium ?
do you think the board thinks "wow, we get 25 m for cl so we spend that on players and go into debt for our stadium!"

the new stadium is surely something that will prevent us from doing too much on the market, because a stadium is really not cheap.
even if you break the costs for a stadium(>100 milion €) down to the years we have until then (its due in 2011) it will leave us with debts of ca. 25 milion € per season... who is gonna pay that ... you ?

Surely they wouldn't spend all 25m € on a new transfer, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't spend a portion of it, figure 20m less whatever they get for Tiago and there's ample cash to make one more purchase.

While someone like Zapata is such a blatantly obvious big money target, Juve will continue to defy logic and refuse to build from the back out... and either do nothing, or purchase someone like Aquilani or Ledesma, whom while talented, do not fit the immediate need.

A Football Club Financing isn't simple, though Chelsea or Real makes it look really easy maybe because they dun look into balance sheet or their cash flow statement.

Remember Leeds Utd ... ?

One reason i like Juve is their ability to self-financed and less dependent of their owners.

The transfers this summer though not spectacular, have been prudent.

Its definitely not easy, you're right... but managing a team with championship pedigree means taking the short term pain for long term gain. It means taking a bit of a loss if it means acquiring players that ensure success short term AND long term.

With this roster, Juventus could end up in 1st. They could just as easily end up in 5th and out of the CL. That means millions less in revenue. Two key injuries and that number could drop even lower.

Sure, Mellberg and Knezevic were good business... so long as they are backups to a WC CB... which they think is Andrade, but logic says that he's sadly finished, or at the very least, will never be a WC defender again. Shopping in the bargain bin gets you exactly that, a bargain bin team.

Amauri was the right idea, but in the least needed sector. Poulsen is fine. But there's a gap where Giovinco, Marchisio and De Ceglie can't fill, and that's CB beside Chiellini.

Thunderball, i agree with u on the lack of acquisition of a solid CB to partner Chiellini which will make our starting 11 looking very differently positively.

Who know, they might pull out a last day purchase (ala. 2005 with Canna and Ibra) that will make our eyeballs drop :D

Note: I'm being very optimistic here ...

They didn't signed Arshavin, and more important thing is that we all know how much money EPL clubs have. So at least stop comapring us (by us I mean Juve or more precisely Knezevic) with every team that bought at least one good player. And calling Zebina and Molinaro a dirt is just wrong and offending man. It's even against forum rules.

It is almost invevitable they will sign Arshavin, as soon as they sell Berbatov. "and important thing is that we all know how much money EPL clubs have" We generate more revenue than them. It's just that we have owners who don't want to invest in players, even when our best defender is injured. And not all EPL clubs are like Chelsea. Look at Aresnal & Liverpool, thier fucking purchasing thier players from bins i.e. Silvestre, Degen, Rieria etc. "And calling zebina & Molinaro a dirt is just wrong and offending man" What do you want me to call them? Great, nice players? Thier garbage players and add nothing to our side. It's fans like you that always want to settle for mediocrity & Knezevics.

I don't want you to call them great, cuz we all know that they aren't. You can call them bad players etc. but don't offend them. And don't label me please. Did I ever said that I'm satisfied with Knezevic transfer? I'm not stupid, I know that we had to buy more and better players, especially in defense. Do you think that I'm not fed up with all the crap and hope that in the winter mercato we will sign WC player and than wait till we qualify for Cl to sign WC player etc etc.

Still you can't compare us with Pool or Arsenal, do you remember Torres transfer? And still do you realise how much money EPL clubs are paying for average player, remember Bentley to Tottenham. Or for a good players, how much Man Utd is going to pay for Berbatov or how much they paid for Tevez. Tottenham is paying crazy money for players and still they are last on the table, I know that the played only two games but imagine that happening to us.

And about our owners, can you remember last time when our owners invested money into Juve? I can blame Eklann for that but not Gigli, Blanc and co. I know that they aren't the shadow of our previous menagment but also they have less resources to work with. So all I saying is to get real.

Agree:agree: "can you remember last time when our owners invested money into Juve? That is what i am saying. What is the point in having shareholders who do not even invest in players? The difference is Tottenham have a chairmen who actually puts his hand in his pocket, and invests in quality players, like Modric, Arshavin, Dos santos, Bale etc. Eventhough we generate more capital than them, and are a far bigger & more successful club, we somehow sign far lesser players. I cannot see the club moving forward in terms of being successful & signing better quality players with the current people running the club:tup:

please can it with the "investment" bullshit....you don't know shit about the club's financial details or its assets/liabilities so please shut the fuck up with the free advice...and if you are so impressed with Tottenham's latest transfers, fuck off and become a Spur!

Grande le Zebre, We a not much richer than Spurs any more.

The TV money in the EPL is so huge that even average EPL teams can compete with us in the transfer market.

You sound like one of the people who haven't accepted that Juve are no longer in the same position financially as we were 5 or 10 years ago.
