Here are our plans for january transfer market according to italian press:

We want CB.Names are Mellberg(closest to sign for us :pumpkin: ), Lugano, Mertesacker and Zapata. We want to return Marchisio and Giovinco from Empoli. We also want to sign Montolivo as replacement for Almiron who`ll be leaving along side with Zebina and maybe Tiago to some EPL club probably. There are also rumors about Appiah`s return.

Juventus seek to re-sign Fenerbahce's Appiah
tribalfooball.com - November 06, 2007

Juventus want to bring Stephen Appiah back to Turin from Fenerbahce.
Controcampo says contact has already been made with the Ghana international, who Juve coach Claudio Ranieri wants to boss his midfield next year.

Fener are reluctant to sell, but with the threat of Appiah invoking FIFA's Article 17 law next summer, are ready to sell in January to avoid losing the midfielder for a knockdown fee in June.

So the question is: Who would you prefer? Appiah, Gilberto Silva, Sissoko?
Maybe someone should open a thread with a poll regarding which DM player the fans want.

Theese transfers sound good, except maybe Mellberg's but still highly doubt that we will sign anyone from this list.

:pumpkin: Bah. I don´t believe any of this, except maybe that Lugano will come. Appiah was rumoured to come back to Juve in summer and it didn´t happen. So I don´t think that he will come now either.

that would be a dream because he is one of the signings i want most, but it won't happen anytime soon, especially in january. he recently signed a new contract, plus fiorentina are 2nd in the standings, ahead of us and roma, dreaming of a scudetto. why would they sell, their best player IMO, to one of their CL spot and scudetto rivals?

This poll must have a NONEcerino option as well.

Appiah?

We need guys that make the difference for Juve, not the other team.

Hopefully we'll be in the CL next season so we need 2 good teams.

I wish we were able to play a 3-4-1-2 formation but this probably won`t happen then I`ll say my mind on the 4-4-2
Diego would be great and Quaresma could be very good too
if Nedved retires this season then we need both if not one of them would be enough

about the attack I think we could try Giovinco in DP`s position and try to really make him his successor

about the defence Zebina is not that bad so he could play on the right while Salihamidzic isn`t a bad option too
the center of the defence is a bit problematic as Andrade Criscito are not good enough

Andrade could start if he is not injured while Criscito is not good enough therefore we need a new central defender or two
Ivanovic don`t know him but heard he is very good
Barzagli heard he is good too
but we need the defender who is also a leader we had Montero Cannavaro and now we need the next one
Samuel could be that player
Cannavaro could come back and be that player again
another option is put Chiellini in the center and buy a left back or use Salihamidzic as the left back
the left back position is a bit problematic as there aren`t many good and affordable ones
the only one who I can think of is Zambrotta and I don`t know if he is affordable

overall I would say
Buffon in goal
defence: Chiellini Andrade Zebina and a new CB (leader) or a left back (Zambrotta) maybe even two centrals or one of each kind
mid: Camo Nocerino Diego Nedved/Quaresma
att: DP\Giovinco Trez

Giovinco could be a sub at the start and take DP`s place in the long run

I always used to dream of Rosicky replacing Nedved in our team...

Do you guys think this is a possibility, still? Unfortunately, I don't think Rosicky has stood out for Arsenal and has made as much an impact as Cesc.

He was very ordinary vs. Man United in that match...

Rosicky has been out of form recently..blame goes to too much injuries..but he's obviously a talented player and the Boss considers him an integral part of our squad.
