I think it's apparent we need a player such as Quaresma who can take on defenders and allow more space for the players that are better in front of goal.

the people i see as a good replacement are:

1. Quaresma (porto)
2. Rosina (torino)
3. Van der Vaart (hsv)

I was just going to say didn't Secco say we might sign an offensive midfielder with quick feet? People are saying Quaresma, VDV, Nasri but what if the target is a little closer to home? what if the guy in question is Rosina? Nobody was really expecting Andrade and we got him. Getting Rosina would be awesome. He's young, skillful, lively and is used to Serie A. Perfect signing if we can get him.

:agree: But the coach said Rosina is not for sale, at least not for this upcoming season.

Ranieri is saying the market is closed for Juve, we won't sign anyone
I hope this is a manouvre to cut down on prices
I suspect it is just that. Ranieri knows what its like to work under a microscope that not only invades the privacy needed for good deals, but manufactures its own rumors and suggestions. Chiellini was almost gone because of media hype. Everyone knows Juve is still incomplete. CB is the top priority. Of course, it can be argued that Ranieri hasn't really played his starting 11 together yet, but that really only gives a pass to the midfield and offense... defense has been really weak.

Despite what goal.com says, I think they can find an upgrade for less than 15 million euro.

Deco anyone..?

Arguably a bit too similar to Almiron but might actually be available, we have a Portugese contingent now and Barca owe us a transfer favour or two..
Diego is good. But with the options currently available, I'd rather see us go for a CB, not a midfielder. He will not be cheap, and we are covered.
