I dont know how people here are comlpaining about Juventus's transfers this season..i dont understand the need for "big names"..Liverpool got themselves a big name in Torres for 32M while Juve got an equally good striker if not better in Iaquinta for 14M.Man Utd got themselves Hargreaves for 25M while you got a much better midfielder in Tiago for 14M...Other teams are looking at your transfers with envy and all you do(well most at least) is complain...

IMO one more quality defender is enough to make it a perfect transfer window.So stop complaining!!

I agree with you. In my opion, our transfers this season have been great. Both Tiago and Iaquinta are great players. And great deals as well. I'm just happy we don't pay the f*cked up prices they do in England. As you say, a defender is a need. But if we get a good player (perhaps two?) it has been a great window with transfers that also leaves room for some of our youngsters in rotation.

i think for the time being one CB would be enough..it would be great if you could get 2..but IMO if you only got one quality CB it wouldnt be a disaster..something like Milito alongside Grygera..isnt worse than a Materazzi - Cordoba partnership for example.

True, but I don't see the midfielders we have at the moment offering the same level of protetion to the defence that a Vieira Cambiasso would give.

actually madrid gave roma the best offer of 13m but they offer him a 2.5m/year salary. inter offered him more than that but winning bid is still for real.

what is happening here is the opposite of millito's situation. milliti agreed to join juve but zaragoza want more. here madrid agreed with roma but chivu wants more. 3.5 to be exact

good point...if Ranieri was intending to play a classic 4-4-2 then i think he should have got a Mavuba or a Sissoko instead of Almiron..as Tiago and Almiron as DM's just wont work.
