team looks good but dont think it is a scudetto-winning team...replace Camo/Marchionni with Ribery and Zanetti with Sneijder and i think we r good to go ;)

With the current let down in the transfer market it may be possible that we need to take a new approach. I have been dissappointed in a lot of the players we have been linked with as I am sure that Buffon, Trezeguet, and Camoranesi have been as well.

I know that I am alone in my belief that defense wins championships and that you don't need 4 creative players to win football games. So, I am going to list a few players that I would like the Juventus staff to look at. After of course, I list my typical favorites.

CB:
BARZAGLI
DAINELLI

DM:
GILBERTO SILVA
A. DIARRA
M. DIARRA
MAVUBA

SM:
RIBERY

CF:
BIANCHI
HUNTELAAR

DONADEL
I am sure we could lure him away from Fiorentina. He is a good player in the center of the field and would be a good choice for us if we fail to pick up any of the 4 DM's listed above.

BARONE
Not getting much playing time at Torino. A very solid and balanced central midfielder with experience. I would love to see him on Juventus. Not my first choice, but if we failed on the prior players, I would not object

D'AGOSTINO
I would really love to see us pick up this guy. He is "creative" in the middle of the field and can really pass the ball well. He plays sound defensively and is good on attacks and free kicks. I would love to see him on Juventus. He may even be one of my top choices.

MAURO ESPOSITO
Why not? He possesses good pace, good ball control and an excellent ability to get to the net. Cagliari really hurt this year with out him. We could definately use this guy. He doesn't get the notariety of other wingers, but he is really just as good as those guys. I think he would be a very good signing.

ROSINA
The guy is amazing. He is single-handedly leading Torino out of relegation. He is ready to play now, and would be amazing with some talent around him. I don't think there is any argument about Rosina, the only question is if he is available. Cairo said he would never sell him, but everyone knows that there is always a price that will work.

CASSANO
Don't flip out. The guy is going to be cheap. He is very good. And we need a complimentary player to Del Piero. He is a risk when considering his character, but if the attitude is behind him, than we could have the best player in Italy. He is amazing and a big game player.

AMAURI
He could be for sale. He is a very good player to have and could bounce between SS and CF. He is going to be a big time scorer in Serie A for a long time. He could do a lot for us.

I really don't understand why we aren't looking into some of these players.

Amauri is a very good idea(though he won't be for sale, quite the opposite), but i'm not convinced by your other suggestions. Rosina is good, but we won't get him. The rest, i'm not impressed by. Donadel is average. Barone not getting enough playing time at Torino says it all. Roma let d'Agostino go, which also says enough for me. Esposito is like Ljungberg, only even more average. Cassano, our management would never take a risk on him.

yeah. Cassano wont happen but we have palla for our future and his attitude is awesome.

I would be upset to see Inter get Cassano though but i think it will do them more bad than good cuz him and Zlatan both would compete and are both assholes while Mancini is a hard headed snob himself and i doubt he can control both of them.

Inter could have a great strike force next season though cuz supposedly they got Suazo already

..Thursday’s edition of Il Corriere dello Sport titles that an agreement has been finalised between Suazo and Inter, who have offered the 27-year-old a three-year deal worth £1m per season.

The switch is claimed to be worth £10m to the Sardinian outfit, although some of the Nerazzurri’s impressive youngsters could be included in the deal as well.

Massimo Moratti denied on Wednesday that there was any truth in the newspaper reports, but the signing is expected to be confirmed immediately after the end of the season.

Yes, Cassano and Ibrahimovic will compete for the same spot, but Inter will improve their front line greatly especially with the arrival of Suazo, who is far more consistent and serious than Adriano. Yet, I agree with you that Mancini has to expect a series of continuous clashes between the troublemaker aka Cassano and the arrogant jackass aka Ibrahimovic.

When we compare our current front line with Inter's possible offence for the next campaign, I can see that with two more attackers, we can be better than them, actually we already have the material and the potential to be. Del Piero, Trezeguet and Palladino with landing both Bianchi/Huntelaar and Pizarro would be a perfect attack line for the next season.

But still our priority should be strengthening the team's backbone; in both the defence and the midfield. Two centre backs and two midfielders are far more important than anything else.
