Sissoko has a lot of potential, but I think he is very inconsistent and makes many poor decisions. We need to look into Diarra and possibly Mavuba if he is defensively minded enough. As it stands I would love to see Diarra on Juve.
On the contrary, Sissoko is one of the most promising defensive midfielders in Europe. And saying that he is inconsistent is inaccurate as I've followed him since his early days at Valencia and in Liverpool as well. Moreover, I can add that he was, without a doubt, one of the most important winning factors for Liverpool in their 1st & 2nd leg against Barcelona. Regarding his decisions, what decisions do you exactly need from a destroyer, who only fights to win the ball back?

Another thing, which Diarra do you mean?

jeez. Are you from the middle ages or from Kazakhstan?

On a side note, I think homosexuality is a vastly underrated aspect in football. I mean, I'm not aware of any gay player, there must be some.
It's socially accepted to be gay, but not in football?

gay pride bloody showdown

look at this video and then tell me that its socially accepted to be gay, i don't know is there any country in the world that sees homosexuality as a perfectly normal thing , of course there are people who don't mind if someone is gay or not , but there are much more of does who do not approve gays.

Sissoko shows promise, but is very inconsistent. Yes, Very Inconsistent. He has a great game and a terrible game back to back. Recent memory includes the past three games. Amazing and then awful. He is not mature enough to start for Juventus in a league like the Serie A. He needs more time. A defensive midfielder is an incredibly important position, especially for a team like Juventus who are all about defense. We need a more mature, more experienced player.

Yes Sissoko is very big, and he is a physical presence, and that is something I beleive we need. But, on a game to game basis he will not be able to suit us as well as a smarter, more mature Alou Diarra who has the same physical attributes, is a bit less aggressive and is much more heady at this point in his career.

Diarra plays for Lyon and was on the French WC squad. He came on for Viera in the second half and was very solid in that game and even against Roma last night. He is much better positionally than Sissoko.

To clarify: I would not reject the idea of Sissoko coming to Juventus next year, but he will need a full time backup because I don't beleive he is consistent enough mentally to be a #1 in this league. Also, he has been a bit injury prone in his young age which is also a bad sign. Although I will wave the eye injury as just bad luck. But, then again he does put himself in those situations.

I think picking up a DMF this year is essential and I want to make sure we find someone who can get the job done immediately. We definately need experience in the middle of the field, because between Zanetti and Paro we are stretched thin to say the least.

He already plays for Liverpool in the English Premier League as a regular player and that would be enough. And how can you say that he isn't mature enough to play in the Serie A and he already hasn't played in it before? That doesn't make sense, you can give a fair opinion about him whether he'll adapt to the Italian football or not, when you only watch him playing in Italy.

Alou Diarra is a big guy as well but he is more slower than Sissoko, and again why doesn't you deffereniate between the role of a destroyer and a centre midfielder? Sissoko is a destroyer and that's it, exactly like Gattuso and Makelele.

I don't think he is a regular for Liverpool. He does split a lot of time on a very deep midfielding team. Liverpool is the perfect team to pick up someone like Sissoko.

First of all, I can say that because it is my opinion. Italy is a much more tactical league with much more confusing passes through the midfield. I don't think, based on his positioning skills, that he will adapt quickly. At least not quick enough for him to be a good pickup for us this year. In case you haven't read my previous postings on DMF's available he is in my three desireable DMF's, but I would not want him here if he is to be the main DMF on Juve. He needs someone to share time with and Juventus need a smart DMF that can impact us now. We can use potential in some positions. But we currently have one average CMF in Zanetti and one below average DMF in Paro. If we were to bring in Sissoko we would have to bring in another DMF.

My feeling is that Alou Diarra would better suit us now than Sissoko would. He needs to mature more. We don't need a wreckless destroyer right now or ever. We need a destroyer who understands when to destroy and when to cover. He doesn't understand that. Also, the Premiership is a league with very aggressive defending. It is a big difference to adapt to a more team oriented, coverage style defending system. Challenging someone one on one when you are the last midfielder leaves a huge hole.

Finally, Gattuso and Makelele are one of a kind. Sissoko has a long way to go before he can be compared with them. Gattuso and Mak know how to cover and how and when to destroy. I think Sissoko needs to watch those guys more.

BTW, will Mascherano be available? And will Liverpool put Sissoko or Mascherano up for sale?

yes you're right. Gay people should wear blue hats all the time so you can hit them on the streets.

What's up with everyone calling Sissoko inconsistent? He's been a very good player for Liverpool, so good that Steven Gerrard, the world's best centre mid, is playing out of position when Momo is fit.

That's because Benitez thinks Gerrard is a great crosser and thus should be on the flank. Sissoko is a very raw diamond, needs a lot of work and growth to become a consistent highlevel performer.
