So 'Ti' is 'You' and 'Kaneis' is 'how are you'?

And kukla is a 'baby', right? In my language it means "doll"

And bira is 'beer' in Turkish also...

ti means "what" kaneis means "doing" and by saying "ti kaneis" we mean "what are you doing"

well,in greek we use more the word "kukla" ,that means doll actually but we say this to a girl that is pretty.

"moro" is baby but it's not very nice to say hi baby in the exact translation in greek

you must learn the word malakas too..

it means asshole but it;s more rude.
though, the greeks are using it instead of the other person's name, they are not using it in a rude way.

    like we say:come on mate!
    they say:come on malaka!!

    Lilianna...

I'm going to Greece in July (Santorini, Athens and Corfu).

Is it safe to assume that most individuals in the tourist industry (hotels, restaurants, etc) speak English?

Also, what is transportation like in Athens?? (Taxis $$$)
