In regards to the PS3, I have what could be some potentially disturbing news.

A few friends of mine are managers at various game stores (EB, GameStop), and they have told me that it looks like the initial shipment of PS3's in the United States will be........................................

To top it all off, it seems that these chains are going to do away with the pre-order process of ordering your system, which means 1 of 2 things.

#1) You'll have to pre-pay the entire amount if you want to get your hands on one,assuming that they will allow it, or

#2) You can expect a mad rush the equivalent of the "Tickle me Elmo" hysteria from 6 years ago


And "PS3", if you are even the least bit aware of Sony's history, you should know by now that there is NO way that Sony will have a price drop just 4 months into a system's lifecycle. It just doesn't happen.
