The Argentinian international said gave the biggest hint yet that he a move to Camp Nou would be his first choice when he stated his desire to play alongside Lionel Messi.

With the talks to sign Cristian Chivu from AS Roma proving to be complicated, the Blaugrana may well now turn their attentions to Milito.

Having told Zaragoza that he wants to leave this summer, the Aragónese club are willing to grant his wish, but only if they receive around €20m.

"If Barça indicated that they were interested and approached us with an offer then of course we would listen," said Zaragoza's sporting director Miguel Pardeza.

Juventus were reported to be in the driving seat, but Pardeza has stated that la Vecchi Signora's offer is someway short of the asking price.

"Only Juventus have made an offer to Real Zaragoza for him, but it is a long way from the amount that we are looking for," he explained.

Having joined Zaragoza in 2003 from Independiente, Milito is hoping to step up another level by joining one of Europe's more illustrious clubs and there are no hard feelings at la Romareda.

"The player has let us know that he feels his time at the club has finished and that now is the moment when he would like to try something new," Pardeza added.

Milito is currently on international duty with Argentina in the Copa América and has stated that he will decide his future once the tournament finishes

For me this is the most open Deal,

Why do we need informers on this shit...

We have the clubs making all the inform we need..

The president of Zaragoza told us yesterday that Juventus will meet them and try to close the deal..

We know the deal is fuckt up why?
Because the price, this deal will take time.. Zaragoza are trying all they can to make us raise our offer..

And yeah maby another club will pay more ffs look at the transfers this year,

Forlan,Bent, and you will se that overprices for some clubs is no problem..

Maby for Juve to pay 20 for Milito is a problem but i believe that it could happen..

We play roulette with this deal maby we will get him with our bid but dont count on it.

Barca could easily give 15,16 + Motta and we are fucked..

If you are only willing to pay 10-12m for a new CB we will probably be starting with Boumsong and Legro next season.

Folk round here seem to refuse to accept other teams players can be worth a fair bit of cash.

Milito is Zaragoza captain, an excellent defender and hs time left on his contract. Why shouldn't they demand a lot of cash.
