id take option 2 if we could keep the extra cash to buy 2 midfielders of very good stature....eg vdv and someone like diego or quaresma!!!!
once we make the champions league will we need to spend on a really god defender and someone to replace dp with time
id love to see cana back cuz hes a fighter and playin for juve i think he'll pour his gutts out for us on the field bcuz he is what he is today bcuz of his 2 yrs in our beloved black n white jersey plus he said he left cuz he wanted a shot at the champions league and hes what 33-34 now...he said had he been younger he wouldve stayed..lets not 4get were talkin bout the azzurris captain..u need to be a distinguished player to hold that position..just look at maldini...hes still a big part of milan even if his playin time has been cut down
my only objection would be if we could find someone better than barza bcuz we all know hes not perfect for us..hes just a temporary solution
but in terms of the money we could save to enforce our midfield and attackin options id take option 1 bcuz i have faith canna would lead our defence again like he did in the 2 seasons he was with us and lets not 4get we won both of those 2 scudettos too!!!!!

trust me if nedved retires we will need a quality amf asap...camoranesi is just not good enuf to provide us in that department alone...nedved was our 3rd top scorer n i honestly cant choose who was better last season between him n dp

to be a strong squad we need a versatile midfield with all sorts of qualities...look at milan...they took over europe in the champions league...they tore man utd apart...look at inter they lacked an amf and suffered once again in the champions league

imo i honestly believe that in soccer there are a lot of defenders that can do the job...but only a few notable midfielders that can turn a squad around
the board has a lot of studying to do regarding our squad..theyve taken a few good steps but nothin concrete for the future i think other than tiago who i can see as a regular for yrs to come

Sissoko - failed medical?
I don't even think we were interested in Sissoko. Spoken to some Liverpool fans about him as well, they've all told me he's pretty near awful. Strong and plays the occasional good game, but way too inconsistent. Like I said, I would've found it awkward if it turned out we were interested in this homo (as in: human being).
