Interesting to read today on the Mediaset text service that our Mr.Ranieri would prefer to have Porto's Pepe rather than Milito...
    Merdaset=Milan

Ranieri wants a leader for the defense...Pepe would be a follower.

Pepe/Milito would be the ideal combo for Juve though.

Mark77 Some news about Milito?, read in the italian papers but was just a the headlines?
Yesterday and this morning there was a difference of about 2m € between both parties. Zaragoza have the final offer on the table and just need to sign it if they feel the price is right. (about 17m € give or take).
Like I said before, Gaby as signed something with Juve like SUazo did with Inter before the whole fiasco...Juve just need Zaragoza's and were done. :pint:

ok thats good, hope more news today then...

I think that Pepe would be a excellent player beside Milito, both are relative young and could grow as Juventus central defenders for many years.

    No barzagli plzzz ffs

Point taken...the trick in situations like this is not to delay over what you know is the right decision...& then find yourself forced to make only the best move currently available...this Milito thing is dragging on too long, & it may be that Ranieri is "covering his ass" by bringing Pepe's name in, should Milito not happen!

    who's worried?

It's a fact he signed a pre-contract with us and we met with Zaragoza's GM this week.

Juve's offer is on the table and Zaragoza just needs to accept it.

They haven't signed YET and will probably do Thursday or Friday if everything goes well.

Stop saying you know things when you actually don't. You're misleading the poor people here.
you're mistaken, ive heard roumers that we've agreed a basic fee, but its the add ons that zaragoza wants that is the stumbling point

well id rather trust that then the crap some of u read off tribal thinking madrid have him already
First of all, I like to read what's going on from everywhere. Secondly, no one takes tribal seriously, I haven't even gone there since the mercato opened. Lastly, just because you supposedly "know" something for a fact, doesn't mean it's written in stone; we have no idea about your sources nor about their credibility. Yes, you were right about Trez, but that didn't exactly require rocket science. News about him signing a new contract were everywhere. I'm not in any way saying that you're wrong, in fact I like that you're like "The Informer 2" but show a little calm and humility. Mark's been our informer ever since I can remember but he never gets carried away with his "info".

    Va bene? ;)

his info is out of date tho :p
out of date my ass. :D

your info is non-existent unless you read forums like everybody else. Triball is pure crap that's for sure.

2m was the difference(basic fee...CL bonus...who cares) and this morning Secco got a call from Iglesias(Zaragoza)...

    check your "sources" :D
