Juve set Milito ultimatum
Sunday 24 June, 2007

Juventus will meet Zaragoza officials tomorrow to warn they won’t enter a bidding war with Real Madrid over Gabriel Milito.

The Argentine defender had been on the verge of completing his transfer to Turin this week, but over the past few days relations have cooled.

It’s reported that Real Madrid have intercepted negotiations to make an offer of their own, leading President Agapito Iglesias to pit the clubs against each other for a £13.4m price-tag.

However, this has angered Juventus, who feel that they had reached a basic agreement with both the side and the player.

Director of sport Alessio Secco flies to Spain for a meeting tomorrow and newspaper ‘Tuttosport’ suggests he will set an ultimatum for Zaragoza.

They will not go above £12m plus another £1.4m if Juventus qualify for the Champions League at the end of Milito’s first season.

The Bianconeri also face problems with Benfica, who are eager to keep hold of Fabrizio Miccoli after his season there on loan.

New Juve boss Claudio Ranieri has stated he wants the player back in his squad, but according to Portuguese newspaper ‘A Bola’, a permanent sale to Benfica is on the cards.

Miccoli has also attracted interest in Italy from Palermo and Napoli.

For £13.4m (€20m) they will buy the flowers, pay the "goodbye" prostitutes, pay the plane ticket to Turin and thank God for our generosity.
If we offer these money then he's 100% ours, not 99.9%.
Just a matter of time before its anounced hes officially ours.

I'm not convinced he'll join, here's what the new Juventus press officer said:

"I will tell you this, Milito will join Juventus, or my mother is a blood sucking Bastard!

He is crying everyday because he wants to join. Trust me, Secco is a knowledgeable man of great wisdom, he will slaughter the Saragoza officials and roast their hearts!

Serie A is shaking with fear and I can assure you those villains (INTER) will recognize, will discover in appropriate time in the future, how stupid they are and how they are pretending things which have never taken place.

Saragoza will hand over Milito for just a few Euros, I double guarantee you he will join.

Also, I triple guarantee you, there are no American soldiers in Baghdad.

I think we will get a solid defender in the middle...we cant bash Secco so much after having these three transfers rolling in. Those transfers are definately solid transfers. The only real problem is the defense if trez and camo stay and I think they will if we bring in a defender in the next week or so.
