I give you the coach I have had the misfortune of watching for the last four and a half years:

Mr Jimmy 'Tango' Calderwood.

Routinely plays as many as 6 players in the team out of position, changes formation an average of 3 times per match, changes formation to 'match up' to inferior teams, can't organise a team, can't motivate a team, can't get a team fit, can't win big games and he is a cunt.

The list could go on for hours.

He is also the last manager I have seen play close to traditional catennaccio, but took it too far: goalie, sweeper and the other 9 players left to man mark. Unsurprisingly, we lost the game 1-0.

Man, you should see the local leagues in Italy. I played for a team in Bologna which was basically made up of a group of friends. We always played with at least 8 players who would only be defending. A lot of the time I was the lone striker. And then if you, by some miracle, get into a shooting position and miss (because you're so so tired), they will bash you for hours. Then again if you do score you're the hero of the week. I found it a strange mentality.

Where I play, the coach the coach wants the fullbacks to stay at home on corners. Our tallest players are us fullbacks, and inevitably we never score on corners. Instead of just letting us go up instead of some other players, he insists on 30 minutes spent on set pieces every time we practice.

We still don't score on corners.
