I don't find any depth in the comedy of euros or desi's. Funny accents can only take one so far

And Johnny Lever is not what I call humorous

Bollywood humour is pretty bad, unimaginative, and repetitive. That's not to say it's never funny but most of the time it's not very good. Pakistani stage dramas are hilarious. Both Urdu and Punjabi ones, which I assume you don't understand so well. You can't expect to get the jokes if you can't understand the language.

British humour is awesome but sometimes it's hard to understand the accent and some of the expressions they use. It's also very dry so if that's not that your type of humour then I can see why you think it's 'meh'.
