No engine troubles means pole of course !

Kimi 1st in Germany , buttun second , alonso 3rd .

Mclaren under pressure now after the 2 Renault drivers qualified 2nd & 4th while Kimi's teammate (Montoya) did a stupid mistake by a spining at the last corner before the start line. he was almost going to get the pole.

Button Really has a good chance in the starting (possible overtake) .

6th & 7th for both Williams drivers, Good result so far since Monaco !

World champ is 5th , behind Fisichella. need more things to do to pass him!

How poor !

Not lucky at all. doing his best and always get broke down ?

Fernando alonso won the German GP after a hydraulics problem with kimi while he was leading the race with a big gap.

His teammate Juan Pablo Montoya was the real surprise of the Race starting in Pos 20 Finishing the race 2nd what a miracle from the colombian driver!

Alonso is now 36 points clear of Kimi :irritate:

just look at this though.. apparently there have now been 3 races where kimi has been easily leading and has had to pull out, giving Alonso victory. Working out the points change:

Kimi - 3 extra victories ---> + 30 points
Alonso - 3 wins converted to second place ---> - 6 points

Thats a 36 point difference people, and thats exactly his lead in the standings.

Lucky b*stard!

At least Jenson and Fisi both had decent races, though I'd still love to see Fisi start winning some races.. with Alonso's luck though it ain't gonna happen.

    Alonso was definitely lucky lately. The McLaren has been performing much better during the race, but not during qualifications. Kimi has been facing lots of "unnecessary" problems as well.

    Is that right? IIRC second placing gets you less than 8 points, not sure if it's 6 or 7 though.

    Seocnd place used to get 6 points up until last year, it has changed to 8 points.

    yeah, it changed. Funny how that huge lead could have been so different innit!
    These 2 points make a HUGE difference, I am against them actually.
