i mean look at this shit. this is the tv rights money distribution breakdown for serie a. just a few points:
- teams with bigger stadiums automatically enjoy an advantage, even over those whose matches are MORE WATCHED ON TV!
- tv viewers ("ascolti") are less important than the last 5 years of results, stadium crowd or the classification
- attendance numbers must be fucked up in itself: inda/milan have an avg over 70k, they get more than double of jj's 40k
- history is so fucked up that roma with one scudetto get more than torino (???), and they only get 0,6m less for their historical results than jj with 38 scudetti
- the gap between 1st and 2nd is more than the gap between 2nd and 5th

building the smallest stadium was always going to be a pain in the rear for decades.

I always say that Roma is a club that has a pretend history. People seem to merge the history of Rome and the empire with AS Roma, as if the two are synonymous. It's almost mythical that Roma are a big club with a storied history.

I think it's because they're a club from the nation's capital.

They're going to get artificially inflated support because its big for the league to try to do so.

I am of the belief that we missed a big opportunity during the 9 scudetto run and the CR7 era to expand the seats capacity of Juve’s stadium by at least 10-15k more, obviously the pandemic also didn’t provide the best circumstances but i don’t remember of a serious plan in this sense before it either, should have been a priority imo, right now it’s obviously not an exact necessity, but i feel that overall the small number of seats is diminishing a bit our international appeal and also our current/potential earnings.
