Precisely this.

And i also guess it’s way better like this rather than some other random brands that will get again many fans and observers to split in pro/against camps for various reasons.
Also…I quite liked the Jeep on our jerseys. Became a tradition and we had it for a long time and built a nice association with it.

Hopefully we succeed on the field over the next couple of seasons so the next negotiations will be for a much more lucrative rate.

So despite the management knowing a year in advance that jeep weren't going to renew they couldn't find a sponsor despite the fact they had CL football and the CWC which should attract almost anyone decent, only to slap a save the children sticker and go back to Jeep again.... this management is incompetent to the core

You expected us, after six seasons of absolute garbage (which included a -10 points penalty and no Europe for an entire season) to still have the same appeal and be able to attract a huge sponsor? Whilst playing in the WORST marketed and most backwards elite league in Europe? Really?

Just be happy we’ve found someone and that we are actually even getting 25M.

It’s certainly incompetent to not find a new lucrative sponsorship partner.

However, since Jeep is owned by Stellantis, this is a classic accounting wizardry maneuver for Exor.

and yet we're appealing enough to take on new investment?

Sponsors don't just look at sporting results, they look at exposure, the CL and club world cup exposure is as good as it gets, Juve are still a club that held in high regards on the international stage and yet the best calvo on co could drum up was the Italian airline only to be halted by the government, even then the rumoured money was pathetic, really now I'm not expecting Tamoil level money here but this management fucked up.

Nah. The appeal of this team is same level as 2010s Inda/Milan.

We haven't been relevant on the 'international stage' since 2018
Nah I’d say it dropped off significantly after 2020 (our last Scudetto and COVID nonsense)

But badass is straight kidding himself if he thinks it would have been easy for us to get top sponsors again after all of our off-field problems (super league fiasco, -10 points, no European football, shitty on-field performances) and the fact that we play in a backwards league.

We can get back to where we were, but it’ll take years and we need the right people in place.

we signed ronaldo in 2018, our appeal was at the top at that time in the post calciopoli era

the fact that all we could do with that appeal is to overpay for de ligt and extend rugani twice shows the utter incompetence of paratici
