What did the other leagues get?
I just read that Canal+ made a deal with Ligue1 teams for just 50% of what they promised
Last Serie A deal was for 940m (not counting internationals sale so just domestic) but even if lower we're saving (apparently) 55m/year that were going to those selling Serie A tv rights.
Sadly shitty time to renew a deal.... if only it was done in 2019 instead =(

To those who follow Juve finances, how are we looking heading into the summer mercato?

Will we have cash to take advantage of the fire sales at Barca and Inter?

Would be quite nice to see this team plus Hakimi, De Jong, and Barella

What is this nonsense that Inter have more fans? We probably have at least 50% more than them.

The Chinese
It's difficult to know the exact number
All clubs around europe struggle with no/little matchday revenue. It makes it harder for juve.
Our debt obviously be restructured because we have too much current debt due to 30th june 2021.
After that maybe we will increase our debt too this year.

I assume that in summer our best option still is loan with option/obligation to buy
We hve to sale some player too, wich is challenging. Maybe we will try to look for much more plusvalenza in june, before 20/21 financial closing period. That is why it's not surprise me if we sell dybala in summer.

Regarding inter and barca situation, i think that they will find their way somehow. Griezman and coutinho on their way out. But i don't see they will put de jong on the list.
Inter with their new owner. They will survive. I think one of the players with highest probability to leave is lautaro. They will try their best to keep their future like hakimi and barella.

Looking at our books we shouldn't make any mercato and focus on selling those high wages players that aren't focal for our team and replace with those lower wages and cheap cost.
But then again last summer we went for Morata and Chiesa + McKennie without including Kulu, Pjanic-Arthur swap in Jannuary and what's not....
So it's really impredicatble.

What I'm sure of instead is that we'll try to sell Dybala

Fans in stadium and not population iirc

Planned stupidity/communism

Why this year the 10th is more important than CL

.
Though Sky is yet to secure a Serie A package from next season, the network has acquired rights in Italy to the Uefa Champions League for three years until the end of the 2023/2024 campaign.
Under the terms of the contract, Sky will show 121 of the 137 matches per season from European soccer’s elite club competition. The deal also covers all 282 matches per season from the Uefa Europa League and the new Uefa Europa Conference League.
The remaining 16 Champions League games per season were snapped up by Amazon in December for its Prime Video streaming platform.
The value of Sky’s deal with Uefa, European soccer’s governing body, was not disclosed. Reuters reported in October that Amazon bid between €80 million (US$96.2 million) and €90 million (US$108 million) per season to secure its rights package.
Do you know how much is the CL $ in current deal?

Not Juve but interesting to read.
Hopefully thet get kicked out of the CL (our 3-0 got them into problems, theyll play against PSG next week) while we face Porto.

We were nearing the same fate if we still had all those old players in the books. I remember that our salaries also were way up the 70% limit.

So I think it’s a 58m gross difference compared to last season? And still so much room for improvement with Berna, Ramsey and Bonucci etc.

Bonucci? I'd bet on Rabiot and Dybala leaving before he does.

That's why, to strenghten our mid we have to make big plusvalenza
After 3 consecutive seasons of net loss, i think we will try our best to get net profit this season
I don't know exactly how FFP counts that, but 3 net losses with very big amount accumulated is not a good sign

Our ronaldo project don't run well as we expected
Covid and sarri's appointment really fucked it up
300M capital inject last year only result in decreasing of less than 100M debt and covering covid loss
No other way to get net profit than a really big plusvalenza now.

Its easy to see who give the best plusvalenza, players like Dybala, Sandro etc. but who is gonna buy them for amount which would be okay for us in current situation? All clubs face the same problems, its not only Juve.
We will do Pjanic type of deals, would expect this with Dybala (contract extension and then big swap) and more more player. It will give us plusvalenza, so we can survive until fans come back to the stadium. And If I had to guess, then I wouldnt be suprised if we do Dybala - Griezmann swap deal with Barca, with both valued at something around 80m.
The other big plusvalenza is Sandro.

clubs make 10 times more money than us have their benches full of youth players for a reason. promoting youth players to first team became an obligation.

with da graca, dragusin, fagioli, correria and pellegrini we already have a decent group. these players must become a part of first team.

Tell that to Pirlo because he thinks we cant put too much pressure on this guys...

just had some time to run through the statement. this is on the 5th page:

In evaluating the business outlook, uncertainties persist that are typical of football activities, deriving in particular from the First Team’s performance in competitions in which it plays, additional transfers of players' registration rights that may take place during the year, the revenues evolution deriving from commercial activities, and the trend in the cost for registered personnel, also taking into account the variable component of the agreed remuneration.

Despite the difficult general economic and financial context, the directors have determined that there are no significant uncertainties with reference to the use of the going concern assumption. In developing this conclusion, it has been taken into consideration both the Group's capitalisation (at 31 December 2020 the Group shareholders' equity amounted to € 125.5 million) and the ability to meet its financial commitments through the liquidity obtained from medium-term loans and/or using available bank credit facilities. In addition, without prejudice to the continuation of business activities - despite a context influenced by reduced liquidity in the system as a result of the protracted crisis - Juventus could dispose of players' registration rights.

it's gonna be a long and fun summer.
