what the expectations for our transfer budget in the summer?

- - - Updated - - -

There are four Serie A representatives in the world’s 20 most valuable clubs: Juventus, Milan, Inter and Napoli.

The list was announced by financial experts Forbes, who confirmed Real Madrid on top for the third year running, valued at €2.871bn.

Barcelona are second, followed by Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.

Juventus are the highest-placed Italian club, valued at €737m and that is sure to rise after reaching the Champions League semi-final.

Milan are the 10th most valuable club in the world at €682m, despite recently posting a loss of €91m.

Of the other Italians, Inter are in 15th place with a value of €386m and Napoli 17th at €310m.

Roma had been in the top 20, but fell out of that list this year.

The more we progres in CL the more we get money not to mention we are the only italian team and that will give us more money than the winner of CL.

But the way juve operating lately tells me that we will not spend heavy even if we get the money.

Normally we do some changes in the team to improve but not like people thing ( buying three or four starters).

If asa accept to play as LB with evra as sub then i dont think we will invest in defese this year.

Most likely the changes will be in the attacking dpt, matri will leave and lorente on the way not to mention we are at risk to lose one or both of tevez and morata end of next year ( or this year who knows).

Now that we have reached a CL semi final and done pretty well in the first leg at home surely there must be a company willing to sponsor our stadium now?

Hopefully the management can find a suitable sponsor for it as it would really boost our revenue.

After 5 years you still don't know that we have sold our naming rights?

For how much more years is that ? If I remember correctly they have the rights for 12 years right ? Don't remember the company name , sportfive I think . Still it's pretty strange they haven't found anything yet . Getting the rights and not proffiting anything in 4 years is really a bad investment in their part .

The bianconeri are slated to receive a minimum of €70 million from this Champions League campaign.

he Champions League is surely a fascinating competition: the strongest clubs compete to defend their honour and prestige to lift the final trophy, and gain access to the World Cup of Clubs to play for in December. But mostly, many millions to take home.

According to today’s Tuttosport, Juventus has assured itself of €70 million from this Champions League, as follows:

Participation to the round robin: €8.6 million
Performance (€1M per win, €500,000 per draw): €3.5 million
Bonus for qualifying to the Round of 16: €3.5 million
Ticket and sales receipts from hosting matches: €7.5 million
Market Pool base: €22 million
Market Pool bonus (variable): €24.9 million
The bonus component of the market pool can be as high as €34 million (€40 million minus the €6 that went to Roma) but it varies according to the number of games played in the Champions League, which depends on how far Juventus goes in the competition.

The common Latin phrase of “mortem tua vitae mea” (your death is my life) is quite fitting in this case as Roma’s elimination gave Juventus an estimated €2.8M more of the market pool share.

In the unlikely event that Juventus advance all the way to the final, total revenue from the Champions League may be closer to €80 million!
