Sponsoring yourself, what an amazing loophole. Can't blame those in charge of FFP for missing that...

FFP, Rich clubs get to spend what they want, others are punished for trying to keep up with them.

some people call it equity financing, some people debt financing, others call it sponsorship, I don't see the fuss. Moratti and co. pumped in more than a billion euros during his tenure, don't see people making an issue out of it.

Yeah ,we can ignore PSG.But look at Dortmund and Liverpool's earnings though, that should give us some perspective.Even Milan for that matter.

Liverpool I can understand, as they have a massive following around the world, thanks to their 80s heyday. Dortmund's is surprising, but reading up it seems they are a club who have cottoned on to having sponsorship deals in many areas, something we have started doing in the last couple of years. Man Utd are currently the kings of this, everything is covered.

The surprising thing though is they make more than Arsenal and Chelsea. You would've thought that with their status as a CL club(not a title winning club) for nearly about two decades and now since the past few years with their stagnant status they would be behind these other EPL clubs commercially.

If you read the full report it says our commercial revenue is €68.4m (for 2012-13) which is down from €73m for 2011-12.
They probably included revenues from transfers and other revenues in that amount. Sponsorships and advertising brought us 50m last year, and it's less susceptible to fluctuations. You can sell certain player for x amount and increase you commercial income, but it's not the right indicator of growth.
