The problem is we won't win anything this season, so there will be no prize-money from now on, which obviously wasn't planned.

I wonder how much shit is gonna hit the fan because of this.

Its ok, we knew all that since serie B, and thats why we had to be optimal and stop fooling around with Tiagos, Poulsens and Almirons...
These were wild cards, we shouldnt invest upon, Melo and Diego at least made sense as investments, well maybe not for that sum though...

they made a lot of sense no doubt, but they clearly did not pay off after tonight...I'm worried about how/if a lack of funds will affect our future plans

Plans?? Since when did we actually have plans?
I dont have the impression that we are respecting some short of plan.
If we had any plans, why did we bought Amauri when we needed defenders, just to bench Treze, why did we bought Tiago and Almiron, if we were planning to bring Sissoko, we did we bought Poulsen, despite the fact he couldnt give us anything more Marchisio and def not what Alonso or Diego would do.

We always improvise according to our current need and random availability and form of players...

Anyways, CL spot in the league, semis in Uefa and final in the cup would help a lot and they are all realistic!

We lost a lot of money after this elimination. Every side who makes the knockouts gets as much as the winner of UEFA cup or close to that.

look at milan, last year we laughed at them, now we're there, goddamn it. They have 9 wins in a row, we're pathetic. How worse can we get? I really wonder how the heck did we beat inter.
