FM says we are rich, I don't see what the problem is.

On top of that we have excellent youth systems with a heated field.

We are golden.

Nah, just pursuing a masters degree in accounting. But it is really easy to find the numbers because Juventus is a publicly traded company so they have to release their financial reports to the public. Everything can be found on Juve's official website.
Indeed, or even Yahoo Finance. They have a section for companies listed on the Milan exchange.

We always played by the FFP rules, we'll benefit long term.
... under the assumption the rules are actually upheld and have no loopholes, which seems dubious at this point.

Why what? I believe we are, no need for us to change, it would be foolish to now. Our new stadium also gives us more room to manoeuvre.
I'm really excited by the prospect of having increased revenue that is our own...I just hope:

A.) Our fans aren't sick of us by then and stop coming to games and...
B.) Players still want to join us.

A) Laragest fanbase in Italy, one of the largest in the world. However, the product on the field will soon have to match the stadium to which they are going to be watching them in.
B) Juventus are the Yankees, Cowboys, Lakers, Red Wings of Serie A. Players don't forget history, and what it means to be a member of a team with a championship history. We're not talking about Palermo here. And not unlike the aforementioned teams, Juve has gone through a dry spell and a run of bad results. Unlike the rest of those teams however, they weren't dealt a severe and crippling blow in 2006.

Why? We are one of only the 3 clubs(Arsenal and Bayern) that comply to those regulations, should be happy with that.
That would be great if we had a quality team but at this point our team needs a lot of work on. Teams are just strengthening right now while they can cuz when the FFP kick in they'll have good squads and won't have any problems in following the regulations. You think Chelsea could sign David Luiz and Fernando Torres after the new regulations? I just think that we should start investing in some great talent right now cuz it'll be much harder in the future.

Well if you aren't getting into UEFA competitions it doesn't matter if they ban you for not complying with FFP rules. Obviously in the first instance you want to buy players to be successful and therefore qualify for UEFA competition in the end so it's basically a moot point.

They are already running gigantic losses, so your rationale is flawed. Getting all their spending out of the way now versus later is not a good tactic as the monitoring period begins next season, and according to the FFP rules, owners will only be allowed to absorb losses of 45m euros a year, which will than drop to a lower amount in subsequent years, and eventually to a lower amount many years after that.

On the same day Chelsea sign Torres and Luiz, they announced losses of 82m euros for 09/10. This was during a season where they won a cup and league double, and spent relatively little that summer compared to previous seasons, so it goes to show they cannot afford their squad. It was hardly a one off result either, as their losses in previous years exceeded UEFA's stated levels as well.

Next season Chelsea's losses will most likely be even higher given the amount spent on Torres/Luiz and their wages, which I'm sure are very high. There is no way they will meet UEFA's conditions unless they somehow increase their revenue by a shitload.

As for the other big spenders this January, City, Inter and Milan already run losses which exceed UEFA's minimum, and none of them have held back on spending over the past year to meet these criteria.

It is obvious that UEFA are bluffing as most of the big clubs (other than us, Bayern and Arsenal) have not taken any measures to ensure they meet these guidelines. Seriously, Platini is facing off against an Italian PM, Russian Oligarch, and Arab royal. I wonder who can pull more strings...

What Juventus fans should take from this is that our management are feeding us bullshit. They are being cheap not because they want to meet the FFP guidelines, but because it is a convenient excuse to deny opening their wallets. Not too mention it's quite funny as FFP is only relevant if you play in UEFA competitions, 1 of which we are struggling to qualify for and the other we obviously didn't care for.

With that said, I still support our financial stance, as it's the responsible thing to do and avoids putting us into a situation like Man Utd and the Liverpool of H&G.

Our stadium is consuming alot of our resources. We're are building that beauty without going into debt. We're very financially fortunate actually. Once the stadium is built, and now that Secco is gone and not giving out outrageous wages we should be good. :)

I disagree that the stadium is consuming a lot of our resources, the very point and the main argument for it is that it would pay itself off through the rights to name the stadium, so the stadium is self sufficient, it's costs are covered by the new income it has been producing for the past few years.

The rights to name of the stadium paid off a big chunk, not all. There's still a significant amount left to be cared for. The stadium will be self-sufficient once its up and rolling.

But we still havent been paid all the money from the naming rights, so we'll still get around or more than half of it.

95m euros was raised through naming and sale of commercial space (Sportfive, Nordiconad). We took out 2 loans for a total of 60m, both from the same bank, payable over 12 years.

5m a season is not a burden. It's our wage bill, coupled with no CL and less money from sponsors and broadcasters that is hurting us this season.
