This year we'll make more than last year, or just about as much.
We get 3-4 million more than last year from tv rights because we finished second last year in serie A.
Qualifying from the groups to the 1/8 finals and then getting eliminated there brings around 2m eur more than not qualifying from the groups at all.

In the press release on Juventus.com, they expect a negative result come the end of the season. I'm curious if this is based on the assumption we will be dumped out of the EL, because a EL final may mean our CL exit had no financial impact. Not to mention a Juventus/Liverpool EL final would generate just as much interest as any CL final, and I imagine there would be more money in it compared to a EL final of Fulham vs Valencia, etc.

It just further emphasizes how crucial qualifying for CL is. Our gate receipts are a concern but that cant be fixed this season so it looks positive but its very possible next season will fall a few places if not more down.

On a side note have they actually considerred club debts in this list?
