Vetorri actually lodged an official complain against Gul.Though the match refree shot it down, saying that it lacked any real substance.

I've always liked Vettori, and the New Zealand team in general.Talk about being sore losers.Maybe England and all these other countries need to accept the fact that Pakistanis are the daddys of reverse swing, and english conditions will always bring out the best in our quickies.

We gave the world reverse swing you fucktards. And it took you ages to learn the art.

Wow. I liked Vettori and the Kiwi's as well actually but this is just low. It seems every once in a while some player or team feel they can push Pakistan over and I don't know why that is. All of their complaints have been unfounded; they just don't understand (neither do I) how Pakistani players are able to further the sport over and over again. Nawaz, Wasim and Waqar came with the deadly reverse swing and Mushtaq with the doosra and I don't what others have come. Now we see Afridi delivering the really fast spins that the commentators are jizzing over and just today I heard them compare Gul's deliveries to that of Akram and Waqar.

Afridi's faster deliveries aren't actually spin at all... just seam up quick ball which is pretty difficult to read...

He's a leg spinner, so technically he cannot ball a doosra, only a googly :p

Why is it that all off spinners coming out of Pakistan have the same action as Saqlain Mustaq? Not that its a bad thing, but its kinda strange...

True. But the current lot is no where as good as Saqlain was at his peak...

yea of course Saqi revolutionized the art of spin bowling as we know it...a guy of his class will not come along every day...but this Ajmal guy is pretty good...he's a liability in the field and a bunny with the bat, but with the ball in hand he is absolutely lethal...has a really mean doosra
