To my Indian friends on here.I just read that ESPNStar have acquired the rights to La Liga as well as Serie A and Ligue 1.

Now thats some bad news which makes me think Serie A coverage is gonna be even more atrocious come next season.

This is what i found on Ten Sports wiki page.

Broadcasting Rights
In 2010, Taj Entertainment Network reached a multi-million dollar deal with the U.S based Goal TV, securing the broadcast rights of the Spanish La Liga and Serie A matches in the sub-continent.[5][6]
The Spanish and Italian League rights were returned to ESPN Star Sports from the 2012-13 season.[7]

No, they have Premier League AND La Liga. Both are generally broadcast during different time slots.

I dont know how 2 channels(ESPN/star sports) would be able to show 4 leagues in full.certainly not.

I guess some Serie A games could be shown on Ten Action/Ten Sports too just like last season.

I think Serie A will be shown on Ten and Neo like this year. ESPNStar have full rights for EPL and La Liga. Ten still have the rights for UCL.

I hope we draw some english teams in the CL, atleast then its guaranteed they will show our match.

Did you guys notice they changed Neo cricket into Neo Prime as they lost the rights to telecast Indian cricket
