How is Seven a gorilla? You all need to stop acting like homos and grow up. Or at least get better at insulting.:disagree:

To get back on topic, my sister went to Dubai last summer and said there was a fairly large gap between the people that enjoy Dubai's fruits and those that do not. Also in certain parts of the city, where the lower class people live there are signs warning visitors not to take photos. So the article really isn't surprising to me.

I've never been there so my opinion may be irrelevant, but always thought Dubai always had one side; a dark one. I mean, with all those buildings and technology anywhere gives to the feeling that probably many are not "living the dream" there

Btw, Seven gets "fighting or trolling" warnings almost everytime he's trolling, and i think it would be fair if the mods do the same everytime he's the insulted party.
The problem is that it's not so easy to insult me. I'm a well educated, intelligent, western man. If only I were muslim and Arab! I would make such a good victim. I would constantly cry out and attack those who bring injustice to my great, great countries. I would say Allah Akbar more than anyone has ever done before, I would see the West and Israel as the roots of all evil, I would make it impossible for people not to insult me.. ah.. if only..

Aren't you a mod? You could hand out warnings.

But you know full well all this isn't out of the blue. Its a result of a long time of provocations.
Allah does not exist.

I think people who believe in Allah are morons.

And you can't have that.

I am, but i prefered not to warn Seven and not to warn the ones who insult Seven because i see all of you mature enough to stop it.
None of you, obviously, plans to stop it.

Seven got the first infraction from me today. I seriously won't let the others continue this without taking action.

Slaves built the pyramids so it's not unlikely people of a similar stature built Dubai.

Isn't it funny though how you are all defending an opinion I put forward months ago? It's just.. odd, wouldn't you say? Because some of you, and you sure act as if you would have to know how things are in Dubai, said some very different words on this very forum back then..
Like what ? And who ?

The thing is, many people get worse treatment and nothing is ever done about it. Consider people like Hanyuako, Maher and Kostarika and there is no limit to how badly they get treated. I'm not complaining here, as those people are obviously idiots that got whats coming. Seven deserves the same treatment imo :D

Now on a more serious note, I'm ready to refrain from all this as long as Seven stops provoking.

Instead of bringing shock and awe to the poor people of Baghdad, why didn't we decide to bomb Dubai?

I mean, it would certainly be a much prettier war, truly testing the destructiveness of all the weapons Raytheon, Lockheed and Northrup have created. Just imagine bombing the hell out of the Palms Resort, creating a light spectacle for the astronauts at the Multi-national space station, streaming images back down to earth for our enjoyment. It would be a wonderful display of light in the shape of a palm. I mean, who can beat that? Plus we could still invade for oil purposes, as shipments are made through the UAE on a daily basis.

I'm afraid our leaders made a historic mistake in 2002.

Oh, wait.

Only as long as we can invade and keep the underwater hotel.
