All I am going to say on this issue is that many of the different things he talks about in the book are true, but they are not as inter-related as he makes them out to be.

So yes there are:

The Knights Templar
Opus Dei
The Priory of Sion

BUT, Da Vinci was not a grandmaster of the Priory.........

So the title is even out of whack, but I hope that it is all true so that all these Jesus freaks can just shut up. How funny it would be if the world came tumbleing down because we found out Jesus was fucking, OHH NO, he was human after all, you wank-spanks.

The existance or not of the:

have nothing to do with Jesus's life...

Yea I know, but I am saying i wish that what Dan Brown wrote was correct so that Christian religions would be wrong.

If you thought I meant that they had any outcome of affect on Jesus' life, I am sorry, it was not my intention.

They do have an impact on how we know Jesus' life though, which is essentially what Dan Brown's book is about.

there are much more important things than the ones Dan Brown choosed to present that can be used against the curch based on real facts, no false theories...

At the end of the day its the success of the novel that Dan Brown would be concerned about, obviously he'd have chosen the elements that would best suit the needs of a bestseller rather than a historically accurate reproduction.
