I'm afraid I'll have to go with the crowd here for once, Zidane indeed was a supreme player in his time of unparallelled technique and vision. The closest anyone has come was Il Phenomenon Ronaldo in the nineties, but his following years failed to deliver the goods.

to some extent same can be said about post 2002 zidane.

good point but one must consider how the game has changed from back then to now, the game is much faster with players that were bred to play futbol instead of back in the day where much of the competition was amateur level. dont get me wrong, i still think pele was one of the most amazing players to watch. zizou IMO is the G.O.A.T. :toast:
