It was a dull game. We missed a couple clear chances when we were 1-0 up and then Italy got a penalty out of a set piece, nothing very exciting out of Italy attacking wise, were pretty much closed down by the defense most of the time barring a brainfart here or there. Both teams played it safe after hearing that Portugal was winning though.

I looked away as HT approached and missed the fricking goal. It was Saponara who has been playing right wing.

Italy looked a bit crappy at times first half. Pinsoglio made a good save 1 v 1.

Italy scored again, scrappiest shit you'll ever see but Mattia Destro stabbed it in. Turkish defense all over the place. 2-0 and looks like Ciro's golden run continues.

This lad seems to have improved a lot from the other times I've seen him. Alessandro Crescenzi, two footed and plays the same position and style as Zambrotta.

Agreed, the way he defends and pushes forward, in this game has been great. Did a nice tunnel, when 1 v 2, on the flank. Then defending on the flank as well, great.

Ok. How did he play? Haven't seen Newcastle this season, but they are in a good period right now.
Well I have one friend who supports New Castle, and he told me... When he played his debut with New Castle, he was one of the best players on the pitch, the second game, sadly I don't know.

Insigme Red Carded, got fouled bad by a turkish player, didn't get a free kick. The turkish player provokes him, and Insgime hits him on the foot in which he falls... Anyways... stupid move. Even when Ferrara told his squad many times, not to fall for provokation. But then again, he worked hard all game and did good, except for the sad evening. He needs more experience.
