Scamacca got two yellows for absolutely nothing, one had his arm outstretched and the Spanish defender fell to the ground holding his face like they always do, ended up in a scuffle, a Spanish player got a red and Rovella a second yellow for basically nothing. You would have thought a brawl had broken out and punches thrown. Just some dumb fuck German robot ref without a single thought of his own.
3-0 in half an hour and a penalty saved on Cutrone. A penalty that looked like a certain miss from how Cutrone assured Frattesi that he wanted to take it.
In the rare instance that Spain doesn't beat Czech then goal difference matters, but its unlikely. Anyway to qualify first or second its quite similar here.

Yeah too many things can change in 2 months to predict much when injuries and form can vary a lot.
Just based on this group stage the team plays quite well given the expectations are less than the last U21 team. Rovella and Frattesi won themselves starting positions imo. The third midfielder (with Tonali suspended) can be up for grabs. Pobega, Maggiore and Ricci if he comes back can all start. Scammaca and Cutrone are a lock in attack if Pinamonti can't rejoin the squad (don't know how it works). I prefer to see Raspadori start but Cutrone has the experience and captaincy.
The GK and defense were very solid. Delprato was more unknown to me than the Serie A players and he was maybe the most impressive one.
The wingbacks in this generation look more exciting than the last one. All of them played well, Frabotta was probably the least exciting wingback.
Worst of the groupstage: Tonali
Best: Carnesecchi and Rovella
