It's basically all desert (besides the coastal regions obviously) extremely harsh weather conditions all year round as well. Plenty of crocs, snakes, and all sorts of fucked up creatures. Even the capital, Darwin, is smaller than some suburbs in Sydney (like Parramatta or Chatswood)
