Most families immigrated because of two main reasons , poverty and Saddam Hussain .
My family got out from there because of the poverty as they were very poor and wanted to live better by working in Saudi Arabia .

Sad but true, I am so fortunate to study away from my family, since I learned alot about life and became independent. I remember as an 18 years old skinny Lebanese boy on my way to start university, I imagined it was going to be all rosy and easy, until I realized the next day in North America that Mama is n't there to make me food, wash my cloth, clean, grocery shopping, and Dad isn't around to finish all my documents and take care of stuff any more, I had to start making my own decision, my family gave me the space to be on my own and told me you make the decisions and we will be there to support you. Unlike my younger sister who studies back home and get all that done for her, but still whines and complain how hard university is.

I don't think i'd do it. But i see absolutely nothing wrong with it. I know quite a few people who have non Arab wives and its worked out fine for them.

I would have to disagree with you there Moe, I have seen some muslims have no respect to marriage, for them a marriage is all about the wedding party and trying to impress and etc. The real meaning of marriage has got lost in the shuffle nowadays.

Eventually they might get married, due to pressure from family and etc, but those ones usually don't last most of the times. I know some friends who used to fuck around before marriage, later on they got married, few months after they divorced. The guys were cheating alot and didn't like the idea of being with one woman for the rest of their lives. It was too much for them to digest.
