Words you like in other Arabic dialects

I'll start with Palestinian, my favourite words are:

ballahi, kwayyes and nothing beats zarre2 :lol2:

I'll write down more from other dialects later
Nice idea.

What's Zarre2?? :confused2

Here is some Hijazi for you:

Andor: get out of here
zogag: small street
da3os: spoon
koverta: blanket
azham: call
kafar: tire
6ablon: dashboard
:D Actually they're new to me excluding Zogag, kafar and 6ablon...

6ablon is called tablo here.

When I read it the first time, I thought you said "Zegzag"

Did you work for a butcher on the "Halal" way??:)

Thanks

I saw it many times. At each time, my eyes become full of tears.

did u hear about the Derzi (i think) girl in Syria...theres a video going around here....horrendous stuff
I think I know what you're talking about. I heard about tat video, but I never read about her from a reliable source.

Is Siktir Git Arabic?
What's that?? Where did you hear about it? It seems Turkish for me. Git means Go in Turkis.

add to that
Karaweeta: A chair that's put outside of the house
Zanbeel: a bag
ru6rai6: something slimy
mirakkab: kitchen
hahahaha

I remember only Zanbeel.

Hey Reb, does your signature have anything do with the "Thank you, Brazil"?
Yes, Tahir. It's a poem for a famous palestinian poet called Mahmoud Darwish telling his people that they have to immigrate many times in their life, not once. The connection with Brazil is that Palestinians who were refugees in Iraq since they were born were forced to leave the only country they knew during their life and were thrown on the borders with Jordan and Syria. No Arab country accepted to allow them in for more than 1 year, and finally Brazil offered to have them as guests with the same rights as the Brazilian people. That's why i thank Brazil.

Oh. I knew that Brazil has a large population of Arabs from Syria and Lebanon, but I didn't know they took in Palestinians as well. Thats cool.

Indeed.

I know that we're a group of people who make troubles wherever we go, hence why Arabs didn't accept to host more of us:oops:

in Syria they use 3arred the same meaning as 3ard (width). like "Ma t3arred, hara day2a" they use this if someone is walking like he is a big shit :D

They also use 3ard as a swear "Yila3an 3ardak" thou I have no clue what it means :D

We use "yil3an 3ardak" in Lebanon as well, I never got the point of it.

The "d" in 3ard you're talking about is the letter "dad". and the word means "the female relatives" and "sharaf" which means "honour"... So, you know now what the insult is about:D

The "d" in 3arred I mentioned is "dal" letter, on the other hand.
