That sucks.

But some good news, it said on VH1s GNR - Behind the music that Chinese Democracy is set for release in November 04 ;)

Not really. Well, yeah it does suck, but I was able to use the tickets to light up this nice spliff at my friends' house :D

I'll believe it when I see it RE: Chinese democracy. Expect China to actually become a democracy before we ever see the album of the same name come out.

Best album of all times is "Thriller" by Michael Jackson, released in 1983.
I don't even think that's his best work.

I'll take "Off the Wall" before Thriller anyday.

But it is still the most popular and selling album of all times. 50,000,000 copies sold worldwide. (figure I saw couple of years ago) :)

It doesn't necessarily make it his best work, though.

Its like saying that since Britney Spears first album sold more than Madonna's "like a Virgin" album, that Britney's is obviously better, which couldn't be further from the truth.

Editors Note: fabi, if you read this, don't take it personal.

    That is certainly true.

Music preferences are very subjective. I may like one album while you- another :)

Sales figures in no way influenced my preference though. "Thriller" was the first great album by any performer I was exposed to.

That's why now, 21 years later, it is still my favorite. :)
