Hopefully with a winter come to an end, and spring coming, he will have less fever and start to perform until the end of season, fyi his first season with Atalanta is not that great too (4 goals and 4 assists from 43 matches in all competitions)
his 2nd he get better with 10+4 and in the 3rd season he get 15+7 that lure us to get him from Atalanta
We think that we will weakened our direct rival for UCL spot in the process (like when we trigger the Higuain clause for 90m, but it seems work to Atalanta favour as they establish themself as "Dortmund" of Italian football), they get :
De Ketalare (22.7m) > 11 g + 11a in all comps this season
Samardzic (20m +5m bonuses) > 5 g + 4 a in all comps this season
Retegui (20.9m) > 24 g + 5a in all comps this season
If we count their goals they scored 40 goals between them in total (11+5+24) using our money for Koop and nurture them to become their next money bag in their already working system. Really think we have some link to Retegui and Samardzic near the end of last season, earlier in the season too
But to be honest, I don't think we will get that numbers if the situation is reverse, we get those 3 players and Atalanta keep their hold of Koop, we will probably see a moody Koop with Atalanta, and all over the place of these 3 players ( somehow the same output like Conceicao, Mbangula, Weah and co)
