I am one of those who believe we play better and look more organized with him than without him. However, the "ball possession" stats from yesterday may have more to do with the result (Monza chasing a goal in the second half) than with Koop's absence.
monza were trying to score from the 1st minute. they didn't change their tactics during the match. we just fell behind in possession once koopmeiners was subbed out. that's normal, he's better at holding the ball than thuram

anyway, no injury

He has considerable influence on our game and does make us play better. But he obviously isnt 60m worth for what he brings. Thats just madness how much we paid.

I just don't get where he's supposed to fit. He's not a 3/4ista and if he's to play deeper we already have Locatelli there. He's not the box to box we need to play in the cm, our best one there is Thuram besides that one game Fagioli was excellent.

It really seemed like there was a plan with our mercato but now that I know the players better I'm not sure what that plan was

Box to box, no doubt.

Box to box, but he cannot be involved so much with build up. He has to arrive like mckennie.

he is underperforming but a lot of the juve problems are because players don't move off the ball into attacking positions. not even just attackers but mids and fullbacks are constantly running into space or advanced off the ball positions for other teams. you barely see it in juve where the focus is defensive back passing.

watch a match where atalanta or bayern play vs a match where juve plays. it's ridiculous how little off the ball movement juve players do.

You dont even need to do that. I keep screaming at players not moving to help other make better passes (Yeah I know they cant hear me...). Its like they have some invisible wall that they cant go forward despite area clear for them to move.

Thought he was okay today. Got an assist for Thuram by getting in support and playing a good pass.

He set up Vlahovic for his chance in the first half and had another good pullback for him which if Vlahovic had bothered to make the right run yo the front post could have been another.

I expect more for 60m but it was better than previous games.

This guy offers nothing and lacks everything. If not for Douglas Luiz he’d be the biggest flop.

I’d say 110 mil down the toilet but I’d have more fun watching it than those two playing for juve. Add the 35 mil for Nico injury Gonzalez - junktoli should be sentenced to life

He is basically the one who press and running all match against Fiorentina. If only we have a real footballer striker, it will be easy task for him to get 20 goals contribution. But nevertheless he will achieve 20 goals contribution this season. For me 20 goals contribution is enough for 60m price tage

imagine spending 2 months and 60m chasing a guy who can't offer anything
It is just fucked up! Half a season gone and his highlight reel on youtube for juve would be less than 15 seconds. I see very slow improvements here or there but if motta hasnt figured out how to best use him in his system yet then when will he?

60m for us is like 200m for City. It is like blowing your load on a hooker offering missionary only and no oral.

We spent almost 200m on Koop, Douglas and Vlahovic.

3 flops ( so far)

Koop and Douglas might yet turn it around but Vlahovic is done.
