Novara coach Attilio Tesser is aiming to turn the great excitement surrounding tomorrow’s game into a positive for his side.
The 53-year old said: “You can sense the big match atmosphere in the city, but we mustn’t let that affect us. We hope we manage to put our intentions into practice on the pitch.
“Taking on this team gives us an incredible motivation, given the current stage of the championship season and potential significance of the encounter.
“I wanted to see a reaction after the game against Napoli and I got one. I hope to see the same determination tomorrow.”
Tesser, who guided the Biancoazzurri into the top-flight after an absence of 55 years, also conveyed his intention to stick to the principles which enabled his team to achieve two consecutive promotions.
“We mustn’t leave the game entirely in their hands. Juve’s technical qualities are undeniable, but woe betide anyone who just thinks about defending.
“We can’t allow ourselves to go into the encounter with a soft approach. Juventus have an extraordinary intensity for the full 90 minutes and set upon you from the very beginning.
“I’m still working out whether we’ll play with a 3-5-2 or 4-3-1-2. It will depend on the players’ condition and also how Juve line up.”
