Athirson was actually a very good player.
A Brazilian eft back by trade
He had skill, pace, dribbling and technique.
But sometimes foreign countries can ruin a player.

    Some transfers work some don't.
If it doesn't work it doesn't mean they are crap players.
Look at Thierry Henry at Juve.
    look at Bergkamp at Inter
look at Viera at Milan. (And no, I don't support Arsenal)
    look at Pirlo at Inter
    Crespo, Mutu, Veron at Chelsea
I really rate these players. but they all sucked at those clubs..

1st of all Capello must stay.

    Who I'd like out:
Trezeguet (Only if Gila is In)
    Del Piero
    Blasi
    Montero
    Legro

    In:
    Cassano/Bojinov/Pazzini
    Gilardino
    Pizzaro/Aimar/Diego/Rosicky
    Barzagli
    Chiellini
    Miguel

if we sold del piero the delle alpe wud prob get no fans at all!!!!!
id say keep for morale of the fans but make it clear to him that he is no longer first choice striker

im still not sure about cassano and mutu is a druggie, i think if we can get a rite bak and partner for emo we still have a team capable of winning CL, radical changes are not necessary and will not happen

Buying forwards will get us nowhere, it is quite obvious our weakness is in the middle of the pitch.

agreed its our midfield which is the problem not our strikers, the 4 of em have chipped in with a fir amount of goals, we need more in the middle of the park

But DP as substitute will bring trouble to the Delle Alpi by hardcore dp fans who pick him over the team.

If we do sell dp, we have to make sure there is a good enough replacement, it will be a critical momment and the fans will not tolerate less than scudetto and CL title.

Juve dismiss Capello exit Friday 15 April, 2005

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fabio Capello will continue as Juventus boss next season despite their Champions’ League elimination.

The tactician has been linked with a switch to Real Madrid, a move that could potentially happen if the Bianconeri now fail to also win the Scudetto.

But the club insist that they have no plans to make a coaching change at the end of the current campaign.

"I’m 100 percent certain that Capello will be the Juventus Coach next season," stated director general Luciano Moggi. "I have no doubts about that at all."

The Old Lady’s European exit has cost the outfit around £10m which could affect the club’s transfer strategy.

"We’ll think about what to do about our squad for next season after the game against Lazio (on April 24)," he added.

"But I think we just need a few little touches. We certainly need to add a little quality but nothing drastic needs changing.

"If you change five or six first team players at once then you won’t win anything."

The 2-1 aggregate defeat to Liverpool was a massive blow but Moggi is seeing the bright side.

"Our progress in Europe isn’t bad," he added. "We got to the Second Round last year, the quarter-finals this term, next year we will get to the last four before winning it in two years time…"

Now Juve are just focusing on beating Milan to the Italian title. "We shouldn’t panic unless it goes badly against Lecce on Sunday," noted the official.

"We are first at the minute with the best attack and the second best defence. The championship race has never been as exciting as this."

Why that datè? why after lazio game?? arghh moggi .. tell more plz!
