And mexes is pretty far away- he has a loophole in his contract which blocks him from joining roma (somehow)

Cavenaghi is going to sign for CSKA Moscow AFAIK, Ferrari is about to join Roma in the next few days. And Roma can still buy Mexes, they just have to offer a bit more money to Auxerre.

btw, Targets lost? Well since I don't have a clue who Moggi had/has
as targets I don't know. It's one thing what the media say and what really
    is the case!

I was about to do this kind of thread too... And add Alexei Eremenko jr. to that list, Moggi tried to sign him but he went to Lecce instead... Good for him, maybe we'll sign him after few seasons of development...

i was very dissapointed with cavenaghi. he could've gone to a better club.
i'm disappointed with the supposed"better clubs" rather(us for instance).they should have tabled bids while he was an unkown, yet they never learned from the d'alessandro transfer.

letting CSKA moscow beat us to his signature is just weak man:frown:

D'Ale, Aimar, Saviola and Now Cavenaghi

they all have been missed because of SORIN after buying Sorin from River and seeing how he failed as a youngster Juventus are very attentive in buying River players and usually don't want to pay more then 5m € which directly rules them out of Rivers asking price....
